Small Ranch-house (7 acres), 10 minutes outside of downtown Wickenburg in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. You will see the stars at night and hear the coyotes howl. The master suite is occupied full time by my co-host Justine from Switzerland and her two cats. During the winter half year (November through April) we are very busy and have more guests. The house will not be as lonely and quiet as during the summer. Shared living spaces may be occupied certain times of the day by other guests.
“Expect kindness and courtesy. Inward and outward beauty. Such a wonderful magical place with a whimsical name tucked away in the desert hills. Saw bunnies, birds, mustangs, llamas, alpaca, chickens, ducks, and quail this morning at sunrise - so delightful a stay! Make sure you notice the unicorn on the hill - great chance of seeing her and taking her photo about 3pm from the road on the way to the Unicorn Ranch.”
Enjoy a simple comfortable place to stay, with everything you need. This small cottage offers one bedroom, one bath, and an open living room and kitchen area with a breakfast bar. All essentials ready for your use in the kitchen, bedding towels and of course Netflix on the TV. This cottage is a few blocks from the Downtown arena, keep your horses there and walk over to feed each morning. Across the street from the dollar store and just a half mile to downtown.
“This little South Western house is adorable! Filled with charm, so cozy and right near town. We love that they are dog friendly with a large fenced in yard, so it makes it really easy when you are traveling with pets. The house had every amenity you could ask for, we cooked a nice dinner at home and really enjoyed ourselves here. Check in and communication was super easy with Holly. We would love to return on our next trip together to Wickenburg! Thank you very much.”
If you are looking for "wide open spaces" - this is it! Surrounded by desert with fabulous views. You'll be comfortable in this roomy 1 king bedroom, full kitchen & bathroom with shower, combined living/dining room. Flat screen TV's in bedroom and living room. This guesthouse is attached to the owners main house. However, has a private entrance with small front patio.
“Desert Dwelling is a lovely place to stay, especially if you are looking for something off the beaten path. The night sky was AMAZING to witness from the guest house. I highly recommend this place - it was spacious, clean, and super comfortable. And, Peggy is a fabulous hostess!”
