The Donnerschwee farm, first mentioned in 1937 and later built, is located in the northeast of the city of Oldenburg and was the first settlement house on the square. The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. The surroundings impress with their proximity to the Donnerschwee meadows and their beautiful cycling and walking paths. Nevertheless, everyday necessities are within a few minutes' walk or on foot.

Means that you will not find a classic holiday apartment, but a private accommodation. Which, of course, is a jackpot because you have all kinds of amenities. From a fully automatic coffee machine to a Wii U, everything is there. Those who want to unlock more levels are welcome.;-)

The "Hühnerstall" is a small guest house in a spacious garden with many old trees and offers space for couples, but also four adults or a family. Everywhere in the garden there are shady places for the adults to linger and overgrown secret corners and play opportunities for the little ones. A swivel grill with a fire pit invites you to evening campfires on the terrace. The adjacent house is currently empty, so you have the garden all to yourselves.

On the shore of our natural pond is our cozy wooden house. It is reminiscent of a vacation in Sweden… to top off this flair, you can relax in the in-house sauna and forget the stress of everyday life. We live together with two dogs in a secluded location on the edge of a small forest. Ideal for cycling enthusiasts. From here you can start great tours through the Ammerland! The about 200-year-old farmhouse is located at the entrance to the village of Platjenwerbe, right on the border to Bremen. On the 3500 sqm property, which is surrounded by old oaks, there is plenty of space to linger, play and relax. You have the entire attic of the house to yourself. There are three CATS (Mieke, Erwin and Kurt) living with us in the lower level. They might visit you if the door is open.
