All facilities are located on the ground floor. Such as a spacious sitting area with views of the West-Frisian Circular Dyke, a cooking island and a spacious bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower. There is a garden with a terrace. The sea is within cycling distance, where the quietest beaches of the Netherlands are located.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. From the terrace you can fully enjoy the sun and look out over the water and the old region. From Kolhorn you can reach the sea and the beach in 15 minutes. The town of Schagen is nearby, where you can visit the West Frisian market every Thursday. Various walking and cycling tours also start from Kolhorn. You can store your bicycles safely and dry in our shed.

You can unwind under the veranda and have canoes at your disposal with which you can explore the beautiful surroundings and the picturesque village of Kolhorn. It is located on the Westfriese Omringdijk, where you can take beautiful cycling or walking tours in the area. You can enjoy the beach and the cozy city of Schagen with the West Frisian Market every week.

Shaving bridge between city and beach

Schagerbrug is a village in the municipality of Schagen, North Holland, Germany. Around the village you will find an open polder landscape in which you can excellent hiking and biking. Not far west of Schagerbrug lies a beautiful dune area, the Zwanenwater, in which you can relax well. A beautiful beach walk is of course also possible! A visit to Den Helder or Alkmaar is also one of the options.
