I was very pleased from the moment I arrived! There was a sense of serenity surrounding the place and had an immediate calming effect on both me and my dog. The cottage was nicely decorated and very comfortable and clean. The hosts were very nice and approachable. The kids even took me around to meet some of the animals and let my dog meet one of the lambs, which she is very pleased to have been able to do! The chickens were also very cute, especially the dark one that looked like it had pants on! I very much enjoyed waking up to the quiet surroundings. It was sooooo relaxing! Zero complaints.

This peaceful retreat gave us the space to reconnect, breathe, and just be. We spent time down at the river, laughed together, and watched my sons play like they were little again—it brought tears to my eyes. The home is spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with everything you could possibly need. The soaking tub was a dream, and the whole place felt like a warm hug. The host was unbelievably kind, helpful, and generous—going above and beyond in every way. This stay brought healing, joy, and peace back into our hearts, and I’ll be forever grateful. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay, this is it. We can’t wait to return.

This is my second stay here and we love it. It’s so peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The remodeled farm home is gorgeous and well laid out. It had everything we needed. We cooked most of our meals at home and just enjoyed the peace and enjoyed a great movie or walk together. Grilled steaks outside. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Corey is a great host!

Anne's place was a nice break from city life. The view from the living room was serene and had the weather been nicer, the deck would have been a wonderful place to drink coffee. Anne's place was clean, cozy, and comfortable. There are trains but they were not overly noisy--no train whistles! The location was quiet, even with the folks who reside below. All and all, a delightful place to relax for a few days.

We had a wonderful time and the house was absolutely perfect for our group. Beautiful views of the river, super walkable to DT and local bars/restaurant. The house was well appointed in terms of kitchen/cooking items, etc. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone else staying in this area.

Beautiful home within walking distance of everything you could need or want. The house was large and spacious, and we loved the light fixtures. The dining table was perfect for games and art projects. We enjoyed the beauty and coziness of the indoor fireplace and also spent hours outback on the patio with the gas fire pit. Everyone slept great on the comfortable beds. Adam was an excellent communicator and responses were immediate. We will be back!

Arriving late to the campground, Anne made it very easy for us to slide in after hours . Very accommodating .

This place is huge! Three floors of usable space and four large bedrooms plus an office space. It’s very quiet and peaceful with lots of natural light. It is a little far from town but that can be a plus if that’s what you are looking for. It was very family friendly. If you are traveling with someone who has mobility issues, there is a bathroom and bedroom on the main floor but no shower. There was a washer and dryer available for use. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the use of your property!

This sweet little house was fabulous for our visit to Winona. We had our dog so the fenced backyard and walkable neighboring areas were much appreciated. The house was newly remodeled and very cozy. I was worried that there would be street noise in the front bedroom so I slept in the second bedroom and it wasn't an issue. The beds are comfy! The kitchen was very well-stocked and had everything we needed. We were surprised that there was no dishwasher but since we only made breakfasts we didn't have much to clean. The only drawback was the scented laundry soap. Like many folks, I have sensitivities to chemical fragrance. It's great when hosts go with unscented or natural products. We'd stay again.
