Fadi was very friendly and nice and very attentive to everything we needed!!! Great place and secluded off the grid and just a lovely spot, thanks for letting us share your home!!!!

Unfortunately the hot tub was not heating up properly. Everything else was nice and clean and matched photos as described. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, not even a lot of cars driving through. I think the house next to the listed house has a dog that barked occasionally but nothing unmanageable. Overall it was a good stay!

A great place to stay a couple days or weeks. Very convenient, great area for walking.

Extreme comfort within a lovely setting that is within close driving distance to Kensington Metropark! Highly recommend!

This cozy little gem is a great little getaway place for a weekend stay. All your basic amenities. Clean, easy check in and such a great view. Walking distance to a few places to eat, but not to far from Ann Arbor either. Host was very responsive; friendly. I would totally stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy lake house! The home is nestled in a beautiful forested area, surrounded by tall trees and the sound of birds in every direction — it felt like our own peaceful retreat in nature. The lake view was stunning, and we loved spending mornings sipping coffee on the porch while soaking it all in. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and very family-friendly, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Whether we were gathered around the firepit, cooking meals together, or just relaxing with a good book, it was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect. Our host was fantastic — incredibly responsive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Overall, a truly special spot for nature lovers and families looking for fun, relaxation, and beautiful scenery. We can’t wait to come back!

My sister and I had a peaceful long weekend at Fish Tales. It was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. It was fun to take the kayaks out and just RELAX. The cottage was a short drive to the swim race location at Half Moon lake that we were visiting for. If you are looking for a peaceful spot with beautiful views this is for you,

My brothers and I with our significant others always get together for a weekend at the Renaissance Festival in Holly and this was literally the perfect cabin for us - close enough that we could go to and from if we needed a break during our long days at the Faire and peaceful enough at night to come back to and relax or play games like we love to do together. Plenty of space that we could all have beds and felt cozy. The lake is beautiful this time of year and even was warm enough that we could have swam after if we wanted or weren’t warn out from our long days. Parking was easy to figure out even with four vehicles. Host was responsive and super helpful and even allowed us to check in early when we realized that we would rather all drive in together last second. (Whoops! Poor planning on my part.) There was even provided water which was lovely as well, and a really nice touch when it comes to well water! Thank you so much and we will be back!

We chose this cabin as our Christmas destination spot this year. Easily accommodated 5 adults and 5 kids under the age of 12, all of which were entertained by all the cabin has to offer. We’ve stayed in lots of cabins and this was our favorite! It was so gorgeous, private and peaceful. Annette was so responsive and hosted us wonderfully making sure a tree was up and there were Christmas decorations out and about to make it extra festive. Can’t say enough great things about our stay.

The cabin is lovely. Looks just like the photos. Very peaceful and cozy. Aaron gave us a great recommendation to the white horse inn for dinner and it was a great vibe and good food. Highly recommend. The horses on the drive in were beautiful. Wish we stayed an extra night actually. Great place to disconnect for a weekend. 5 stars.

The experience at Mully and Deb’s cabin exceeded my expectations for a personal retreat. Being right on the walking path is such a treasure - with so many hiking paths just steps away outside. I was amazed out how incredibly quiet the location was. I could be out in those woods and hear no human activity. Fantastic! The cabin is extremely cozy with two reclining chairs that look out over the forest. This is where I found myself for hours reading and journaling. The wood fired stove is more than enough to keep you warm - even in this cooler time. And of course breakfast was a sure highlight - prepared with a lot of thoughtfulness. If you’re looking for a retreat - look no further than this cabin on the path.

Perfect spot for my mom & I to stay while we visited family in the area. We loved the cozy-chic cabin vibe. The decor was beautiful and SO COMFORTABLE, from the couch to the beds. Well-appointed kitchen for all our needs & we appreciated the Keurig. It’s very quiet, and the skylights are amazing. We took advantage of the nearby hiking trail on a frosty morning - perfect start to the day. When I had a couple questions, Annalisa was very quick to respond. We miss the Hideaway already and hope to visit again!!

Amazing little lake house, just perfect for our needs. While it was a bit chilly in the evening so wasn't able to take full advantage of the amazing deck or the lake itself, the views alone were something that made all the friends back home jealous.

Love this spot, this was my second time staying here! I was in town to attend a show at Fox Theatre and walked there & back, just a little over a mile away... This space is very basic & that might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it worked perfectly for me & I will definitely be checking the availability on this place the next time I plan on heading to Detroit!
