Casa Morriña. House by the river in Ribeira Sacra

Morriña is a recently rehabilitated house (2019) on the bank of the Miño River, where the water “breaks” against the porch of the house. It has two exterior rooms with their own bathroom each and a large living room with fireplace and a large gallery overlooking the river on the top floor, and a kitchen with dining room and toilet, with access to the patio and porch, on the ground floor. Lighting and comforting have been paid to a lot. NOTE: If a single night is booked, it brings an increase of €50.

This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

It consists of a bedroom with a 1.50 bed with an aloe vera pillow, a large bathroom with a shower, a kitchen with kitchenware, a refrigerator, an oven, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, etc., and an open sitting area, a sofa that converts into a bed and a loft with two comfortable 90 beds each.
