Vacation rentals in Bilbao

I fell in love with this city a long time ago through its bars and people. We will go from 4 to 6 bars to ensure that you have tried everything Bilbao has to offer. We will walk around the city from bar to bar discovering the local food, pintxos and the most popular drinks as well. You will get to know the history of Basque language and the Basque people, differences between Spain and Basque country and the past and present of Bilbao. I will adapt the route depending on if you are more eager to walk and see places or want to try more local foods. The bars and places we will see on this route are not the main touristy ones, I will bring you to special places for a different reason each. Other things to note You will have eaten enough food at the end of the experience so you don't need to think about dinner. Let me know if you have any food restrictions or want to focus on a specific kind of food or drink

After sharing a couple of laughs we will jump on our bikes and ride through my town where I will show you local life. The local bike route will get us all the way to our first stop: UNESCO Site Bizkaia Hanging Bridge where we will enjoy great views from the bridge and the iconic towns of Portugalete and Las Arenas. We will then continue through the beach side breathing fresh air and admiring the beauty of the area until our next stop: The "Puerto Viejo" old fishermen town, where we will enjoy a break in this pintoresque hidden gem, time for drinks and pintxos! Great views and amazing photo opportunities. Time to get lost, no rush. After we enjoy the amazing Basque Cuisine we will check out the local "Fronton", icon of Basque traditional sports. Following the "Bidegorri" we will then cycle through the Cliffs Route and discover the amazing Landscape of the Bay of Biscay and its Geological formations. Be prepared for breathtaking views and the most freshest air you can get! After our deep contemplation moment we will go inside the little roads of the green country side and make our way back to our Bike shop, where you will meet the rest of the team! Hola, If you are a foodie and want to discover why Bilbao has become the gastronomical reference of Northern Spain you must join me. I have the highest quality food & drinks route you could possibly imagine. You will taste at least 10 different pintxos (or traditional Basque food) all paired with a lovely variety of local drinks. San Juan of Gaztelugatxe is probably one of the most beautiful places along the Basque Coast. Since Games of Thrones was shot here, it has become a must see for every visitor. Would you join me on a nice walk along the Basque coast to discover this magic spot? This area is full of beautiful landscapes, great culture, superb gastronomy and breath-taking history. This popular spot is much more than film set and I want to introduce its great natural richness and contribute to the conservation of the place. Esta experiencia se realiza únicamente en español para facilitar la interacción con el grupo. En él nos reuniremos en la Plaza del Funicular, donde tomaremos este famoso medio de transporte hasta el mirador del monte Artxanda. Desde su cima disfrutaremos de unas excelentes panorámicas de Bilbao, divisando la ría, el Museo Guggenheim, el Estadio del Nuevo San Mamés, la Torre Iberdrola y otros lugares icónicos de la ciudad. Si el tiempo lo permite podremos llegar a ver la desembocadura de la ría. Tras conocer algunas curiosidades y datos históricos sobre los edificios y monumentos que observaremos desde el mirador, tomaremos el funicular de vuelta a la ciudad e iniciaremos un recorrido por uno de los márgenes de la ría hasta el ayuntamiento, después nos adentraremos en el Casco Viejo bilbaino. En nuestro paseo guiado por la zona mas antigua nos acercaremos a la Plaza Nueva, veremos las iglesias más emblemáticas y descubriremos las famosas siete calles. Finalizaremos nuestra ruta junto al conocido Mercado de la Ribera, donde encontraréis una amplia variedad de productos de la gastronomía vasca.
