“Excellent space and hosts! My family came to visit for the first time and unfortunately it happened to be during the COVID-19 outbreak. Brent and Sara had pre-emptively provided hand sanitizer and lysol wipes, were extremely accommodating in the face of unexpected circumstances and were quick to answer any questions I had. The space is stylish, cozy, and well stocked with snacks, coffee and even unique souvenirs! In spite of the circumstances my family had a wonderful time! Highly recommend!”

“We really enjoyed this cozy little studio. It is a great studio with literally everything you need. You name it, this studio will have it. They even had potato cutter 🤣🤣 It is a perfect setting for cooking your own meal during the trip. On our first day we went grocery shopping, and bought about $120 worth if ingredients and cooked every single meal for 4 days (except for that one lunch when we went to Bullocks, of course.) This saved lot of money for us so we could spend more on doing activities. Richard is incredibly helpful. His guidebook is very thorough. We did a traditional dogsledding with Tugah, kicksledding with huskies at Sundog, and snowmobiling at somewhere we booked through viator🤣🤣 (And of course the aurora tour every night) Snowking's castle was fun too! The location might feel a little far away from the town but it is totally walkable (like 20 mins maybe) and if you dont feel like walking theres a bus stop right by the house! Super convenient. Most of the tours will offer pick ups from B&B... other than that mad commercial Aurora Village. If you are staying here and booking Aurora Village, you should select Chateau Nova as your pick-up point and walk there. This will take like 10-15mins. This studio served so well as our basecamp for all the adventures in Yellowknife. I really would recommend, especially for anyone who wants to save some money by cooking their own meals.”

“Expect exceeded expectations. This Airbnb is upscale, beautiful, comfortable, stylish, clean, warm, affordable, and in a great location. Even more, the hospitality and thoughtfulness of Amber and Paul is beyond words. They made us feel at home and as if we were visiting old friends, but at the same time offering all the privacy we'd ever want. They picked us up from the airport and gave us a tour of the city from the perspective of a local dating back 3 generations. They provided us with all kinds of additional amenities, recommendations, and went way out of their way to make my birthday trip very special and unique. Bannock, jam, and coffee are provided. The airbnb is in the prettiest neighborhood on lake niven, but it's not far from downtown, the ice caves, or old town. It's a 10 min walk in any direction, the town shuttle stop is nearby, and cabs are available 24 hrs. If you rent a car, they have a heated garage. Their restaurant, Copperhouse, is a must. The smoked trout benedict is top notch. If it weren't for Paul, we would not have seen the aurora on the last night of our cloudy trip. He showed us where to go and when. Yellowknife is just amazing. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else to stay, and I hope to come back to The Good Place.”
