I love how helpful and flexible Jane is. She is also very responsive with Airbnb messages and phone calls. She gave us a lot of great suggestions for food around the area which was very helpful. She also helped us get a taxi and gave us an estimated price range so we could decide the best route and cost for us. She also was very nice when I called for her to check on something I left in the room after check out, and left it on the table for me when I would come back for my luggage. Overall, really great place and love the cute decorations.

It’s a great experience which just like grandparents house. I believe that host spent a lot of time to decorate and keep everything running well. The best part is near the most popular tourism spot. You can spent great time every night and day. If you are the person who is wiling to find this spot in the historical alley. Sorry for typing English , wish everyone will have good time there for sure. If you want to live in, I will suggest driving might not be better because there are so crowded. The parking lot near also can help you saving some time.

The place was clean and comfortable, and the nostalgic decor was also very textured.Although it is close to the railroad, it is not loud and not disturbing. Our family travels together, the elderly live in 2F suites, others live in 3F backpack room, everyone feels comfortable to sleep well. Left things on departure, owner was proactive in assisting with mailing back, very friendly homeowner

We really liked staying here. Location is great and the house was comfortable. Had an issue with some sewer smell getting into the house though.

Great location, accommodation experience is good too

I came to this remote office for a few days (the table can put a 15-inch laptop), the layout of the large space, the bed, and even the bathroom can be fine taste; the space looks dark in the photos, in fact, the lights open during the day at night and the sunlight comes in (the rooftop in the hallway of the outer space is currently changed to be partially transparent, but it does not appear in the photo). There would be train sounds as previously commented, so I had my own earplugs (people who don't like earplugs like white noise are fine too) and the hosts were quick and attentive in their responses.

Brian’s place was exactly as described. He met us for check in and gave us a complimentary case of drinking water and some snacks (super helpful!). Communication was friendly, thoughtful, and quick. Part way through our stay, he even brought by 2 bikes for us to enjoy. We would stay here again next time we are visiting family!

The house is very well organized, and the amenities are fully equipped, and the accommodation is relatively comfortable. Unfortunately, the loft is dusty, because it is for the children to sleep, so I have looked at it more carefully.In addition, it is a pity that the sound insulation is very bad, and there is a wild cat in the back alley.But family and little ones especially love it and would consider coming back to stay thereafter.

Aki’s traditional home was a window into daily life for many Taiwanese. A temple and small vegetable market are tucked away from the main streets to serve the neighborhood of small alley streets. This area has not been gentrified and there are vacant plots and not many modernized homes, but Aki’s renovation of his space was done excellently. Aki thoughtfully has put enough outlets and lights in the bedroom area, bathroom and kitchen and we did light cooking daily. Aki reached out proactively to make sure we were well taken care of. He even came part way through the stay and did a refresh for us. There are ladder-type stairs from the bedroom down to the bathroom, but we maneuvered slowly if getting up in the night. As a couple we felt comfortable in the area at all times of the day or night. Besides being tucked away and quiet, the neighborhood was near bigger markets, great restaurants and many tourist areas. The space was perfect for us and we would definitely stay again.

Close to the city, reasonable price, clean room, push

Emmy and Daniel were great hosts, meeting us when we checked in, detailed explaining the rules of the house, how to use the appliances, and the resources they provided for us as well as the food items.We were able to ask Emmy and Daniel instantly through AirBNB for help and get a response to any housing or sightseeing spots during our stay in Tainan. The complete kitchen, along with a space to eat, allows us to taste the street food that we brought back to, and we can also prepare fruits and vegetables with balanced nutrition. My family and I are both very happy with the experience of this stay and have the opportunity to return to Tainan tourism, Emmy and Daniel's place will definitely be our first choice. Need special attention: This is an old home renovated so there will be limits on the sound insulation and you will hear the pumps that pressurize the water when the water is used.Guests living on the top floor will hear the footsteps of birds landing on the roof of the iron board and the sound of rain dripping when it rains.The bottom floor double single bed room has no window, and there is a large TV hanging on the side wall of one bed, be careful when sleeping, otherwise it will be easy to kick.

Good stay, but you do hear the cars on the street somewhat

James is one of the nicest gentlemen you can meet. He will ensure you are looked after and comfortable for your entire stay. James properties all provide great value for money. The property is located perfectly for NCKU students or travellers wanting a convenient location.

Fun and funky space that comfortably slept our group of three, we each had our own bedroom. Close to lots of places to eat.

A surprisingly large space with comfortable bed and respectable work table. Clean comfortable quiet. The location is on the less chaotic side of the rail line, so just good to consider your comfort level if walking to/from the station or shops in the main town. That said, I actually prefer this more peaceful side of the line. There's a large city park surrounded by several very good restaurants. The toast shop is especially good (NE corner of park).

The alley will be a bit sketchy when reversing into the garage requires tech!Overall very spacious, the seven of us stayed more than enough, the sofa in the living room was comfortable, there were also books where you can leave a message, there are also small snacks, the kitchen is a double-door refrigerator, the bed is large enough to sleep three people. The bathroom on the second floor is very large and you can take a bath. There is also a piano on the third floor!The toilet is a washlet!It is a good stay, but to pay attention to the hair dryer two simultaneous words may jump the electricity, the host is very quick to respond to messages, also a very thoughtful introduction to what we have to eat and have fun nearby, walk to Daito night market within ten minutes, there is a small seven nearby, located in the residential area, so the atmosphere is quiet.

The place is extremely well located in Tainan being at walking distance from many markets and tourist attractions. The host allowed us to leave our luggage earlier than the check in time which was great since we had large backpacks. The only pity is the inner garden being completely closed out.

This lovely house is perfect for big groups! The building itself is old, but inside is nicely renovated and tastefully decorated. Everything, from the decor to the necessaries provided, are very well thought out and we were pleasantly surprised. The living room on the first floor is such a cozy and inviting space where everyone can hang around. The beds are comfy, and there is a toilet in every bathroom. The only downsides are the stairs being very steep and the location is not the easiest to get to via transport, but taxi in Tainan is pretty cheap. We also liked how the neighborhood is very quiet yet there are many restaurants nearby. It’s a truly local experience, and I would highly recommend this place.
