Fantastic place to stay. Close to the beaches and Portsmouth. Plenty of places to visit close by. House was beautiful and the host was amazing. We will be back.

Mark’s place was retro and quaint. It brought back special childhood memories of the house I was raised in back East. We loved our time here. This home is cozy and welcoming and has everything you could need to enjoy your stay. Mark provided homemade banana bread and coffee. That was very much appreciated since we didn’t arrive until 11 pm and there were no stores open. The views were very cool and a great place for birdwatching. It’s a short walk to two different beaches and a friendly neighborhood to walk through. Ipswich is a wonderful town with lots of things to see and do. We would definitely like to book this place again. Thanks Mark.

James was an excellent host for my family and me. We thoroughly enjoyed the place and its beautiful surroundings.

Julie was fantastic and always responded in minutes to any questions we had. I love their home manual which is so easy to navigate and has answers for everything. The home is super cozy and the large gas fireplace downstairs was a treat on cooler April mornings. The weather wasn't on our side for 1/2 of short stay, but we had a family olympics inside, using their ping pong table, foosball and connect 4 game. We did get out on kayaks one day - lovely lake, larger than you think! tons of hiking nearby too.

The minute we walked in we felt at home - the house is beautiful and is in a great location - quiet but close to Portsmouth NH for great shopping and restaurants and close to Kittery outlets. The beds were comfortable and the layout perfect. The back yard was private and peaceful with beautiful gardens. Heidi was a great communicator - warm and welcoming - like a long lost friend. We will plan another trip to Heidi's house - we loved it so much and are thankful Heidi's family is willing to share it as a home away from home for us

Can’t say enough about the location and for every bedroom to have an ocean view is spectacular. Even packing up to go, while enjoying the view, was not laborious. Will definitely want to return. Kitchen was well-stocked. Gino was a great at communicating.

My stay was very comfortable. The property was well kept and updated. The beds and furniture were were in perfect condition. Both the house and the grounds were exceptionally clean and well maintained. I would visit again!

This is a great location—very close to a great beach, quiet and friendly neighborhood. The living space was larger than what I expected from the pictures. Great patios and cozy indoor space. The kitchen has plenty of plates, pots and pans etc for making meals. Nice!

Our stay with Angelo was wonderful! The house had everything we needed. The location was a 2-minute walk to the beach and the amenities (beach chairs/towels, umbrella, grill) made our stay very comfortable. Angelo was very responsive and we'd love to stay here again.

This place was built in 1840 as a sail loft and while it has many touches of the modern day it retains the historic charm. Wonderful views from every angle and I'd highly recommend and will be back!

Anja’s place on the hill was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. She was also there to make us feel comfortable. Nice area and close to Salem and other nearby places like the Crane Estate!

We had a great time at Joan’s cozy condo! She made freshly baked goodies upon our arrival, it was delicious! 2 min away from the beach! The location can’t be beat. The only downside was the train, very close to the house, that passes roughly every three hours during week days. If you don’t mind the nose, the place is perfect for a small family, friends and couples. It had different board games, beach toys for kids, foldable beach chairs etc. Overall great place! This was the most beautiful, relaxing and clean Airbnb. Our stay was absolutely perfect and it had much to do with this space. Emma the host was kind and very helpful. Will definitely return and would recommend this stunning place to anyone!!

My wife and I loved our stay at Lisa’s! We booked once then booked right after we liked it so much. We felt right at home and it was very cozy and comfortable. Lisa thought of everything we might have needed and included extras — it felt like being at home but with extra perks! Everything is super clean. Kitchen is great and even has a dishwasher. Bed is super comfy. Extra towels. We felt very welcomed. Very safe neighborhood too. Lisa also was very responsible and answered all our questions very timely. Would definitely recommend and book again!

Catherine was a great host and the place was very comfortable and quiet. Never had an issue and provided so many amenities. Will definitely book again when I visit.

Sharon was extremely friendly! She went out of her way to find breakfast pastries for my food allergies! Super sweet! Wonderful space, private room and bathroom. We felt very at home and loved the neighborhood. Lovely drive to nearby areas like Newburyport and Salem. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy home away from home.

Lovely home, great location and friendly and helpful host. Felt more like a "hosted B&B or inn" rather than the more common experience I've had with Air B&B of the host being available but not a visible presence. If you are looking for a private, nonengaging experience, this might not be for you. However, if you enjoy meeting your host, we found Bob to be warm and cheery and he made us a lovely breakfast with excellent coffee. Rosy was away so we did not meet her, however, her decorating talents were much on display from the tableware to the linens and accoutrements, all of which made us feel like we were special guests.

The bed was super cozy, the host was responsive and friendly, and the cats were adorable! I had a nice evening with the host chilling with the cats (and petting and playing with them) while watching TV, and when I stepped out for dinner I found a great place following her recommendations. The breakfast was great! The French toast was delicious, and the timing was perfect - made fresh shortly after I came downstairs, close to the time we’d discussed the day before. Check-in and check-out were simple too.

Marshall and Courtney have curated a hip, comfortable, and immaculate space that is a joy to spend time in. Addison Choate is nestled in an adorable walkable beach town that is an easy trip from Boston. We had a fantastic time, and will be sure to be back!

This is the second time I've stayed with Marsha and Steve and I never wanted to leave! Their home is beautiful and welcoming, as is the island. Can't wait to come back :)

This was our first time staying at the Candlebay Inn and we definitely will be back. Connie was so wonderful and sweet, greeted us at the door—gave us a brief tour and local recommendations. The Daisy Room was super cozy, very clean and quiet. In the morning, home cooked breakfast was delicious, Connie was nice enough to tell us about the backstory of the inn which we really enjoyed. 10/10 recommend!!

I have been to many wonderful B&Bs over the last 40 years (Canada, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Virginia, ...) and Brookhirst Farm ranks right at the top. Victoria and George are wonderful hosts. The accommodations are very comfortable, beautifully decorated and very homey. The view is incredible, one you would want to wake up to every morning. Every breakfast was delicious (George's pancakes were perfect). And if that isn't enough dogs are welcome. I will be returning more than once.

Loved having coffee in the sun room! Although we were there for a very short time, it was so nice to have a comfortable, elegant place to stay that wasn't a hotel while we visited town for our daughter's parent's weekend. Would highly recommend to other Brewster parents :) Thank you, Bonnie and Doug!
