Really a fantastic place, nicely decorated and sparkling clean! If we are around again we will definitely come back.

Lovely stay, very peaceful and ideally located for our climbing activity in Groningen. We also had a nice morning in Winsum. Whisk whilst not a problem to us, it’s worth noting that the only bedroom with clothes hanging space and a mirror is the main bedroom. The bathroom / shower is also only accessible through the main bedroom. Overall very comfy and well stocked, with very helpful hosts.

When we arrived in, the electric heater was already on, so we arrived in a warm tiny house. Everything was very clean and comfortably furnished. There was even a little Christmas tree. We were able to relax and get away from it all in the 4 days. We will be happy to come back.

There were two of us in the nice little place. It is big enough for 2 people, everything is available and it is absolutely clean and quiet. Highly recommended as a starting point for visits to Groningen, Leeuwarden, the Lauwersmeer National Park and the many small beautiful places. We had our bikes with us and also did hikes. In the parking lot of the church is an electric charging station, only about 100m from the property. Fresh fish from the North Sea can be found in Lauwersoog, a fascinatingly beautiful night sky can be seen in the Lauwersmeer National Park. We had a very nice week vacation in an area with very moderate tourism.
