The Donnerschwee farm, first mentioned in 1937 and later built, is located in the northeast of the city of Oldenburg and was the first settlement house on the square. The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. The surroundings impress with their proximity to the Donnerschwee meadows and their beautiful cycling and walking paths. Nevertheless, everyday necessities are within a few minutes' walk or on foot.

Quick access to the city center, main train station and shopping facilities offer you an excellent location in Bremerhaven. Tourist attractions such as the Climate House, Emigration Center & Fishing Harbor can be quickly reached on foot or by bus in bad weather. On the shore of our natural pond is our cozy wooden house. It is reminiscent of a vacation in Sweden… to top off this flair, you can relax in the in-house sauna and forget the stress of everyday life. We live together with two dogs in a secluded location on the edge of a small forest. Ideal for cycling enthusiasts. From here you can start great tours through the Ammerland! On cold days, you can make yourself wonderfully comfortable in front of the pellet stove. The cities of Leer and Papenburg are in the area and invite you to stroll, shop or visit a restaurant.

This unique place has a style all its own. On 85 square meters, the cozy living room with open kitchen, a small office and the pretty guest toilet are located on the first floor. The staircase leads to the gallery, where there is a comfortable sofa bed and a TV. The bedroom has a spacious box-spring bed and the directly adjacent bathroom.
