Family-friendly vacation rentals in A dos Cunhados

We had an amazing stay at Carlos' villa with our group of 13 adults and 3 babies. The villa is incredibly spacious, with 12 full beds and additional sleeping options on the comfortable couches. The large garden was perfect for the kids to play in, and we thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and spacious, clean Jacuzzi. The kitchen was slightly used but very functional, offering plenty of room and every kitchen item we could possibly need to cook for our group. The barbecue area is large, though located a little far from the kitchen by the parking area. The rooftop terrace provided stunning 360° views, and the sunsets were simply beautiful. The villa is located in a peaceful, quiet area, just a short 10-minute walk to the beach, which we loved. While walking to the beach is easy, having a car is ideal for reaching larger supermarkets, which are about a 13-minute drive away. Parking offers plenty of space Overall, this villa was the perfect choice for our large group. Highly recommended!

von der Kommunikation her, die Ausstattung und die Lage… einfach traumhaft für mich als surfer. hat alles was man braucht, sehr gute Surfspots direkt vor der Haustür danach entspannen im Whirlpool auf der Dachterasse. umgeben von feinen Restaurants, einfach der Hammer :) lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!

Rita's place was the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. We stayed with 8 adults & it was very comfortable for all. This place has everything you could need for your stay including a full kitchen with all equipment, several spacious double bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds, air conditioning in each room, there was a beautiful back garden area with a swimming pool, sun loungers and a long table for meals outside. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor space. There was also a fantastic barbeque outside which we made use of and made lovely group dinners. The games room downstairs was an amazing touch and we had such fun using it. The location here was brilliant, it was about a 7 minute walk to the supermarket and lots of restaurants and the beach. Everything you need closeby! We would highly recommend booking this place in Ericeira if you are planning a trip there. Communication with the host was perfect, we will be back! We really enjoyed our 3 nights in the historic center of Sintra. It’s a beautiful small town area to be in. The apartment has everything you need. The location is very cool overlooking the main square. We enjoyed watching the town wake up in the mornings. So many restaurants and bakeries just steps from the front door. We had fun with that after coming from the Azores which are very quiet and remote. In the off season of early May, Sintra closes down by 7 pm. There are very few restaurants or shops open once the day tripping tourists leave. We were surprised by that but didn’t mind it as we were tired after our days spent walking around palaces and castles and beautiful gardens. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone as long as they don’t have mobility issues. There are 33 steps to climb once inside the building. Climbing them was worth it for the views of the historic center of Sintra.

Ana and Jorge's flat is lovely - clean, quiet and comfortable, in a great area of the city away from the busy areas but with everything easily accessible. We found Ana and Jorge to be very kind and generous hosts. We felt very much looked after. Lisbon is a beautiful and interesting city and this is the perfect flat for a lovely holiday. Walk five minutes to the viewpoint at the top of Parque Eduardo for the most stunning view!

Que estadia incrível! Desde a localização, que abraça a natureza e traz uma calma incrível, até à casa em si, equipada com todos os utensílios necessários para uma estadia perfeita. Tenho ainda que agradecer à Adriana e ao seu pai pela facilidade de comunicação e toda a atenção dispensada! Com certeza será um local a visitar novamente!

Pedro & Aiza were amazing hosts! Very on top of things and proactive, as well as simply being very kind people on our little excursion to Lisbon! The neighborhood is lovely, with restaurants right outside, yet the place never felt loud at night. So much to do nearby, all in all a lovely spot to pick for your vacation.

Wir haben uns bei Nuno sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine tolle Woche in Lissabon, die Lage war perfekt und die Wohnung ist sehr charmant.

Juan es un host súper preocupado. Desde el inicio fue súper claro en sus instrucciones y siempre estuvo muy dispuesto a responder nuestras preguntas. Una vez que llegamos fue muy atento y nos hizo sentir como en casa. El alojamiento está en una ubicación muy buena respecto a los puntos de interés más típicos que se visitan en Lisboa.

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Sofia was a very proactive and friendly host. All key information were promptly provided days prior to check-in. Easy self-access with the instructions provided. Rooms were ready and property was clean by the time we arrived. It is a 10-20 minutes commute to certain shops at late hours, however, the privacy is worth its keep. There is supermarket super close by, for us was unfortunate due to the time we would arrive everyday at the property meant they were always closed, but those seeking a holiday, that would be no issue. Lovely spacious living room with doors that you see straight out to the swimming pool. As we were there mainly for business purposes, we did not manage to have usage of certain available amenities - but worth to those coming in for a holiday. Sofia was also always efficient in responding, regardless of time (unethical on my part to message pas midnight) nonetheless, she would respond right away. Beautiful home and an amazing host.

We had such a wonderful stay at this unit. The view had incredible sunsets, was perfect for a family of 4. Sofia was the best host. So attentive, friendly and helpful. A storm blew out our internet for a week but Sofia jumped in and ran her own cable from another unit to ensure we did not go more than a day while the local utility service was backed up. We loved the beds, easy parking, great kitchen and layout. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Sofia and Aksel!

Maria and Cesar are excellent hosts. The accommodation is in a lovely and private setting with everything you could need provided. They were both extremely helpful, especially when we had a minor problem with our hire car, but not at all intrusive. We loved our stay.

Todo perfecto. Estuvimos alojados cinco noches con nuestro hijo de tres años y nos sentimos como en casa, además él disfrutó un montón de la compañía de los animales: perros, gatos, caballos y gallinas. Åse y Lars fueron muy amables y estuvieron pendientes de nuestras necesidades en todo momento. El alojamiento se encuentra muy bien situado, en medio de la naturaleza, pero lo suficiente cerca de algunas playas y lugares de interés como Alcobaça, Óbidos, Caldas da Rainha... Una experiencia inolvidable que nos gustaría repetir.

We had an amazing time at Magnus’ place. Such a beautiful setting and property. Any issues we had, Magnus was quick to resolve and was extremely friendly. He had some great advice for the local area. Would love to go back again one day.

Casa súper recomendable. El propietario es muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar, respondiendo muy rápido. La casa es estupenda y no le falta de nada. Además, ha puesto a nuestra disposición todos los "extra" como dos cunas o un radiador. sin duda espero volver y la recomiendo para viajes en familia o en grupo.

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

We have stayed in Vladimir’s apartment two years in a row. In our view, the apartment is excellent and Vladimir js a fantastic host.

We had a great time at casa lua at Quinta da Bella vista!! It is very close or walkable to the great attractions like Quinta da regaleira. You may still want to take a tuktuk to the big attractions like Peña palace and regaleira as parking is hard to find there however parking at this airbnb is perfect and included. We stayed in February so the pool was there but chilly. My kids had a blast on the trampoline which we had not expected, so a lovely surprise! The property and property manager Dinesh was very flexible with our late arrival and very helpful during our stay. We would absolutely come back in future!!!
