With great views over the upper Wye Valley this peaceful double room offers a real break from the rat race. Hay on Wye, Builth Wells and the Brecon Beacons are all within 20 minutes. There's a good pub a mile away and breakfast is included.
“Lisa is an immense host, who made us feel so comfortable in her space. It is a beautiful and relaxing place. The views are stunning, the locals (Gwen the collie, and Simba and Martha the cats) are very friendly (and cute!) and Lisa is a great conversationalist. Me and my partner left feeling relaxed and revived by the whole experience.”
A cosy self-contained stone cottage in a peaceful green valley below Cefn Llwydallt. We're 1000 feet up and the views are brilliant! There's a remote, "get away from it all" feeling, but we're just 3 miles from the main A470 road, and a short drive from Hay-on-Wye, Brecon, Builth Wells, and the Brecon Beacons. Perfect for a self-catering stay, downstairs is open plan, with spacious kitchen, dining and lounge areas, and a toilet; upstairs has two bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower and toilet.
“We have chosen the place because of the location and value. Communication with the host was very quick and easy. When we arrived late at night, it was easy to check in. The house was Very spacious. I wished we stayed longer to have time to walk around the property. The rooms were clean and 2 bathrooms were great when it comes to many people in the house. I would definitely recommend! Thank you so much!”

Beautiful modern living space - well proportioned with all amenities needed. 1 bed apartment which can be set as super king size double or twin bedded layout. Peaceful retreat in the beautiful Welsh mountains. Part of a small holding with lots of friendly animals; dogs, sheep, horses, goats, geese, chickens and ducks. Walking and cycling from the property.
“A beautiful little cottage on a working farm around 1.5 miles from the local village and a 20 minute drive from the Brecon Beacons. Justine and Darren were great hosts, always took the time to talk, shown us around the farm and informed us of the best places to visit and even a little history of the local area. They also let us stay past the check out time without any fuss (much needed after NYE!). Very friendly animals on the farm...the dogs, cat and cockerels all paid us a daily visit! Would highly recommend and we will be returning in the summer.”
