When is the last time you stayed overnight in a 3-story water tower built in 1910? It will be a fantastic weekend get-away! Perfect for one couple or small family looking for a quaint retreat in wine country. A one of a kind experience! (This listing is for the 3-story water tower only and adjacent bathroom as shown in the photos. The main house is not part of the rental.)
“This home is amazing ! If i could stay here longer I would. Such a unique setup with the different stories. It is true that the stairs are a little steep and narrow but nothing that was difficult. I read in another review that the train was loud but it honestly didn’t disturb me. Didn’t notice this until I was packing up that ear plugs were provided, which is thoughtful, but again I don’t feel like I needed them. The view from the window and balcony is amazing! The second floor landing is a cool spot to sit and hang out. The bathroom is also quaint with a super unique shower. Nice touch for sure! Check-in was simple. Although the house is attached, the space is private. The hosts were easily reachable if I would’ve needed anything. Definitely would love to come back during the summer !”
Beautifully remodeled apartment, surrounded by vineyards in the heart of Lodi wine country. Beautifully landscaped. Relaxing areas include koi fish pond, seating by backyard pool or front area under fruit trees. All your needs are 2 miles away- you have both worlds at your door: with Downtown Lodi and Woodbridge. Restaurants, wineries, shopping, Mokolumne river & airport all within a couple of miles. Come, enjoy what Lodi has to offer- the river, skydiving, wine, food and relaxation.
“I spent 3 months at this rustic, charming casita, and found it exactly to my liking. It is rustic, and nature is nearby. You will find peace and serenity in the setting, out next to the vineyards. I liked having the space of a personal little back yard, which is all to yourself, and then in the front yard, the casita opens into a breezway/ shared area connecting to the main house where the hosts live. I say a breezeway but it's an open area, under a cover made of adobe and hewn timbers. A very handsome, tall 2 yr old German Shepard is usually in this area. He is quiet and playful, the nicest dog. I was there in summer and enjoyed the fruit stands and vegetable markets down on Rt 12, and fruits that the hosts of the house generously shared with me, helped me gather; figs, grapes, persimmons, apples, and pomegranates. All were grown organically by the owners, who also have no-shear sheep and a large solar display that is worth mentioning. It's a bit of a hodge-podge The people here are terrific and helpful and sweet. They are really responsive and can handle anything you throw at them. I give them 5 stars. Though it is humble dwelling, it is spacious, clean and comfortable.”
A Peaceful Country vacation.
“What a peaceful, cozy grandma house!!! Elizabeth is a wonderful communicator. She was so good about answering questions and responding to requests very quickly and gave us great recommendations about grocery stores and other local information!!! Elizabeth dropped off some amazing greens and delicious fruits in addition to bottled water, eggs, and cinnamon bread. I really appreciated how well her kitchen was stocked with basics and pretty much any kind of cooking and serving tools and dishes I needed for family cooking. She also uses pretty natural cleaning products. I loved the clawfoot bathtub and the modern, shower, the substantial and comfortable beds, the comfy, retro furniture and vintage lighting fixtures, the lovely dining area, the spacious bedrooms and in particular the window seat and extra sink, and I love the sideboards, sunroom, and stove. It was a wonderful environment to be in!!! And, it was so quiet and peaceful!!! Her backyard and all the different plants that she has both back and front were pretty amazing and that little covered seating area and the lighting for the backyard were wonderful!!! My whole family loved this place!!!”
