We didn’t get the pleasure of meeting Jenny, but Barry met us at check-in and was exceptionally friendly. He showed us around and it was absolutely beautiful; just as pictured. The place was so peaceful and the kitchen had everything we needed (pots, pans, peeler, strainer etc.) The view alone was worth it, let alone the coziness of the apartment. It was overall lovely.

This is one of those rare gems that truly excels over most places. We had a wonderful stay, very peacefully restful nights, and it was a true pleasure to meet our hosts. Gary and Mitra have created a cozy, modern and comfortable studio that stands out amidst the charm of such a quaint Vermont town. We highly recommend it and hope to visit again some day.

Great place and even better host. Peter has a lot going on but is generous with his time and really cares about the guest experience. Very clear and helpful instructions. He has done a great job keeping the charm of the cottage while adding some modern amenities. Not a “luxury” stay but very comfortable. And the grounds are amazing. Peter is a talented farmer who currently uses his yard to grow flowers for the markets. Many beautiful spots to sit outside and listen to the birds and soak in the garden views. Highly recommend.

Andrea has a nice and newly constructed, warm and inviting space super close to everything the Mad River Valley offers. We enjoyed the relaxed setting while hitting the slopes!

My partner and I are definitely going to be back here. The environment was gorgeous (despite a minor blizzard) and allowed for us to enjoy a getaway from the craziness of New York City. The town of Middlebury is super close by. We enjoyed some fantastic meals near the river. 10/10 recommend this cozy garden suite with amenities out the wazzoo.

Absolutely loved this stay! Margaret is a great host. She is super responsive, accommodatable, and really makes you feel like you're at home. My first thought after walking inside is that she clearly prioritizes comfort for her guests. The house looks exactly as pictured and is perfect for a little getaway. Highly looking forward to staying again!
