Vacation rentals with a balcony in Africa

We stayed at Bibi’s house for a week and we couldn’t have loved it more! It’s so rare now to be greeted by the actual host, so getting to meet her in person was the first good surprise. Her flat is so beautifully decorated, very comfortable and has everything you’d need for your stay. It’s also so close to all amenities which we loved as we could just go out and start visiting Puerto. The fact that the bedrooms are at the opposite end of the flat meant that the noises from the street were not a problem. We would recommend to anyone to stay there! Thank you Bibi 🙂

Arrived to very clean and extremely well decorated apartment with lots of personal touches and welcome items. Hosts information and guest book with a lot of information on local area. Location is the best, just across the road from a lovely beach.

Ich hatte einen absolut perfekten Aufenthalt im Apartment von Michael und Lukas! Von Anfang bis Ende war wirklich alles top. Das Apartment war makellos sauber – 5 von 5 Sternen ohne Frage. Die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen: eine voll ausgestattete Küche, bequeme Betten, ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer mit Fernseher, Netflix, gutem WLAN – es war wirklich an alles gedacht, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht.Die Lage ist unschlagbar: nur drei Minuten zu Fuß zum Yumbo Center, ein Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke (quasi eine Minute entfernt), und zum Playa del Inglés waren es maximal fünf Minuten zu Fuß – also wirklich alles schnell erreichbar! Die Poolanlage war ebenfalls sehr gepflegt, sauber und ideal zum Entspannen. Es gab sogar Parkplätze direkt am Haus, was das Ganze noch bequemer gemacht hat.Besonders hervorheben möchte ich aber den tollen Kontakt mit den Gastgebern. Michael und Lukas waren unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit ansprechbar. Alles in allem: 5⭐️ von ⭐

Clare was kind, helpful, quick to respond and professional. She even offered a late check-out if we needed - the apartment was also stunning and the location could not have been better!

Fantastic 2 week stay for our party of four (five for one week). All beds are very comfortable, it is a well equipped home away from home with an amazing view that is even more so when you are actually there. Better than the pictures even. The location allows perfect access to the Seapoint promenade, Waterfront and easy access in and out of the city to tour the winelands. The house has all you need to have wonderful sundowners on the upstairs balcony. Our VW Kombi did not fit in the garage but we always found a parking spot in the street every single day, safety is not a concern, other cars park there too from surrounding residents. Tacha is super responsive as a host and very easy to communicate with. Yusuf is a great cleaner twice a week, we were spoilt like in a hotel. This is definitely a place we will come back to should we come back to this amazing city!

The apartment was nice. A little tricky getting the lock, but she was very responsive in helping me. Nice location. Apartment was perfect for my son and I. Would recommend the ABNB.

We had a lovely mid-week stay at Harbour View Cottage. The cottage was neat, clean, and looked exactly like the pictures. Check-in was a breeze. On arrival, I parked my car in the free, secure off-street parking bay and didn’t need to drive again for the rest of our stay. All the little shops and amazing restaurants were within easy walking distance. We could also buy a crate of wood from the host for the cozy fireplace. Our favourite part of the cottage was definitely the outside stoep. It offers incredible ocean views and is enclosed with glass doors that can fully open up. Whether the weather is good or bad, you can fully enjoy the stoep area. The Bootlegger downstairs was super convenient for a great morning coffee and breakfast. My only complaint? Our stay was too short! :D

We truly enjoyed this little pearl. We should have brought friends to enjoy the great garden, bar and bbq together. Since we were here with a baby we didn't take the most out of the lovely accomodation but really everything we needed for our little one was there, just perfect. She loved the toy tower :).

The house is exceptional; offering great hospitality and everything you'd need for your stay. Amanda is an amazing and very organised host who has taken every need into consideration for her guests. We really enjoyed our stay.

Mary Louise's place is awesome. It is right on the beach, on a section that is quiet from the rest of Camp's Bay beach. Very nice. The view is great and the sound of the waves is very refreshing! The location is down the hill from the road. ML's instructions were very clear and there was no problem with them. Parking is on the street. As an american driving on the opposite side of the street, it took a little manuvering to get right. There are narrow stairs down the hillside, so this place would not be for the elderly or those that struggle with stairs. The beds were comfortable and the showers worked well. The kitchen is well stocked and amenities were good. There is a small grocery in Camp's Bay which is easy to find. It is on the far end of the main commercial area. About a 10 minute walk, located next to the Starbucks. We really liked the robes provided. The whole area was comfortable and relaxing and we had a great stay!

Kostas was a fantastic host. Very proactive, super friendly and easy to reach. The apartment was absolutely lovely and we really enjoyed our time in there. Amazing location right downtown Chania and close to a lot of good restaurants and things to do. We can highly recommend this place and Kostas to anyone wanting to have a pleasant stay in Chania.

An amazing stay in an amazing house. The location is perfect for those wanting to explore the village and also very handy for local supermarket, wine tram and even a couple of vineyards. The house has everything you needed for a great stay with great plunge pool and sun deck area. Also well looked after by Eden and the other staff. Will definitely look to return.

We had a fantastic stay at Laurence’s place! He was extremely accommodating for a very early check-in, communicative throughout, and reacted immediately when we needed things. Location was perfect - walkable to the promenade and restaurants easily. Just up a steep hill, so be aware of that! Was no problem at all for us. Some little nigling things in the condo need fixing, but Laurence is going to attend to them in the off-season. Bottom floor can be dark if cloudy but outdoor spaces make up for it. Bonus: there is a LOVELY cat next door who will visit you (and stay). Wine at sunset on the balcony was the highlight of the stay 😌 Thanks heaps, Laurence!

We had a lovely family weekend there. Beautiful home, fantastic location and gracious hosts.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Denis’s in De Waterkant! The apartment was stylish, spotless, and perfectly located in a charming and vibrant neighborhood. Denis was an exceptional host—friendly and responsive. The space was comfortable, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town. Thank you, Denis, for a great experience!

La casa está muy bien ubicada con muchos restaurantes y locales cerca. Zona tranquila y segura con parking cerrado. La casa es ideal para pasar más de una semana, bellamente decorada, tiene una terraza-balcón que x el corto tiempo no usamos pero es bella.

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin, hat sich sehr gut um unser Wohl gekümmert. Das Haus und die Aussicht waren traumhaft und sehr grosszügig.

Apartment is in a safe location making it easy to explore the area. The Host added nice touches, like fresh flowers, which made the space feel welcoming. Little extras, such as coffee pods, were at thoughtful addition that made the stay enjoyable.

Linnea was a great host, fantastic communication throughout and loads of great tips. The property itself was exactly as it looks loads of natural light, comfy bed and a useful little kitchen sea views were lovely as the sun was setting and the balcony was a nice place to get that last bit of sunshine. highly recommend this property and host

Die Unterkunft von Manolis war für uns und unseren kleinen Sohn (22 Monate) optimal. Die Wohnung war mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten, super sauber, die Einrichtung durchdacht und ansprechend. Jeden Morgen den Sonnenaufgang vom Balkon zu sehen, war wunderbar. Um die Ecke (1min. zu Fuß) gibt es einen kleinen Strand, der perfekt für unseren Sohn war. Wenig Wellen, glasklares Wasser, Steinchen und Muscheln zum Spielen und ein wunderschöner Blick auf die Berge Ostkretas für die Eltern. Schade war nur, dass in den letzten 3 Tagen vermehrt Plastik angespült wurde, was in den ersten 8 Tagen überhaupt nicht der Fall war. Von der Wohnung aus lassen sich auch wunderbar Ausflüge in die Umgebung machen. Gute Restaurants (das sehr leckere Arismari 20m Luftlinie von der Wohnung) und Supermärkte sind direkt um die Ecke. Insgesamt kann ich wirklich nichts bemängeln. Manolis war immer erreichbar, sehr freundlich und konnte uns sofort bei Fragen helfen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen ♥️

Thank you Mandy & Dean for hosting us, we enjoyed our short stay and although it was a business visit we certainly enjoyed our evenings back at the unit. The responses were always prompt and all information provided was helpful and detailed. Will be back for sure!

Wir haben uns in der wunderschönen Unterkunft wie Zuhause gefühlt. Die Terrasse/der Ausblick waren unbeschreiblich :) Du wirst hier schöne Sonnenuntergänge erleben. Es gibt die Möglichkeit, im Pool zu baden oder in den Naturschwimmbecken. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und sauber. Der nächste große Supermarkr ist ca 10 Min entfernt, aber es gibt einen kleinen Spar näher dran. Die Betten sind gemütlich. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Ein Auto ist dringend zu empfehlen! Wir würden die Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Pedro ist ein toller Gastgeber und immer gut zu erreichen. Danke für den schönen Urlaub.

The apartment looked just like the photos and instantly felt like home. It was a charming, peaceful space with beautiful sunrise/sunset views. Everything was clean and well-organized. What stood out most was the thoughtful attention to detail that made for a truly comfortable stay. Tanya, the host, was incredibly helpful and always available when needed.
