Stunning, panoramic sea views grace the property. Villa Saligari is the estate's largest and most well-appointed villa. In addition to a private swimming pool, the terrace features a gorgeous Jacuzzi hot tub with expansive views, while a beautiful dining table and rustic grill await you beneath the dreamy canopy. Indoors, the luminous living room, with fireplace and large TV, adjoins a stunning, sea-view dining area, while the fully equipped kitchen includes espresso and coffee makers. Three superb bedrooms accommodate six guests, with two of the bedrooms enjoying access to the terrace. Villa Chelona, the second-largest villa, likewise features a private swimming pool, an ample terrace with breathtaking views, and a barbeque grill. Michaela Residence

Commanding awesome views of the volcano and caldera from its majestic hilltop location, Michaela Residence is a peaceful 5-bedroom villa ideal for up to three couples or a family. The centerpiece of the villa is a private courtyard, which looks out to sea, and out at the back you’ll find an intimate alfresco dining area overlooking the old Castle of Akrotiri. Clustered around the central courtyard are the main living areas. As you step through the front door, the villa’s playful character reveals itself. Bright paintings, intriguing pieces of art and elegant furnishings are all offset by harmonious views. On the ground floor, you’ll find an inviting living/dining room stocked with digital home comforts and a fully-equipped country kitchen with walls painted by a famous Greek artist. Five individually styled bedrooms wait to usher you into dreamland each night. The Lady’s bedroom, with its romantic setting, dressing area and adjoining red bathroom can be found on the ground floor. Upstairs, the elegant master bedroom boasts a dressing area, HDTV, a home theater, DVD player and relaxing sea views. It shares a blue bathroom with the double bedroom/mezzanine next door, which enjoys direct access to the terrace. The basement apartment receives natural light from the courtyard and benefits from a kitchen and living area. Bedroom five is also on the lower level, next to the spa room with Jacuzzi. Although the inner rooms are extremely comfortable and a sanctuary to retreat to when the sun gets too hot, you’ll probably spend most of your time outdoors. The softly illuminated infinity pool extends a cool invitation any time of the day or night and there are various resting places from which to soak up the sunshine and beautiful views. An elegant lounge area, shaded by a pergola with fluttering white drapes, is a particularly atmospheric place to gather and chat by candlelight in the evenings. Stairs lead to another large terrace, the perfect spot to absorb unrivalled sea views. And if you love the tang of wood smoke, fire up the wood oven for a delicious family barbecue. Do not worry about finding the Michaela Residence, as transfers will be arranged to and from the airport.
