Skipperhuset

Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The skipper house was built in 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in spring 2021. In collaboration with the local paint company, we work to make the house as authentic as possible, including by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and aisle with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is walled in with the brewery house that has renovated the baking oven.

Balcony on both sides and light in from 4 edges! ☀️☀️ Just 15 meters from the edge of the pier means that it is closest to the sea of all apartments in the square. 🌊 The apartment is located on the car-free boardwalk. 🏝 You enjoy the panoramic view of the city fjord, the fortress and the city beach. You look at Grønningen lighthouse that meets the horizon out in the ocean.🎣 You'll also look right away at Aquarama's new outdoor pool. 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊🏊‍♂️

Cozy cabin with a lovely sea view

In this quiet accommodation you can enjoy a view of the fjord from the living room, terrace or from the outdoor wilderness bath. It's only 5 minutes down to the sea. To Sauda it is only a 15 min drive by car. Here you can find most of it, including a swimming pool. Lots of possibilities for great mountain hiking and other nature experiences throughout the year. Svandalen ski center is 15 min. away by car. The cabin is rented out to guests who respect that they live in our private cabin and are NOT rented out for parties and private events.

We rent out our funky house in Viga, in Spind. Built in 2018, the house is of high standard. On the first floor there is a hallway, laundry room, TV lounge with sofa bed, bathroom, and three bedrooms, all furnished with 2 single beds. On the second floor there is a large kitchen, living room, dining table, TV area, bedroom with double bed, and large bathroom connected to this bedroom. Outside, there is a large terrace with lots of living space, different seating groups, jacuzzi and fireplaces, and nice views!

Small Presteskjær Lighthouse

Lighthouse from 1895 with dwelling and apartment in the tower itself. The building is established on a shear at the end of Rekefjord. Original inventory from the time when the lighthousekeepers and family lived in the lighthouse. The lighthouse contains Kitchen, bathroom and toilet, living room, stalls, atrium with panoramic view, 3 bedrooms and small kitchen converted into extra bedrooms. There is also a boat garage adjacent to the lighthouse, this one is furnished for outdoor coziness and simple dining.

Unique Tiny House with Panoramic Views - "Fjordbris"

Welcome to Fjordbris! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. The farm sale was voted Norway's best farm shop in 2023 and is a small attraction in itself. Right next to it, you will find a sauna that can be booked with an equally good view.

In The Longhouse at Lista in Farsund the cows and the swallows are you closest neighbours. From the large panoramic windows you will get a unique view of the North Sea and Norway's largest concentration of bird species. Living in this architectural gem is an experience. Relax with the whole family at this great space. Lovely loft cabin with bed for 6 people. The chalet has all the necessary amenities. Here there are opportunities to swim, row or paddle and to go hiking. Fishing trout in Myglevannet is free when you stay at this cabin. 60 minutes to Kristiansand. About 35 minutes to Evje, Mineralparken, climbing park, go-kart. 10 minutes to Bjelland city centre, Joker groceries, Bjelland petrol, Adventure Norway, rafting+++

Etter dagens aktiviteter er det godt å synke ned i et varmt boblebad med god massasje og nyte solnedgangen eller stjerne himmelen. Det finnes også et badstu i hytten. Gode solforhold rundt hytte fra morning til kvelds om sommeren. Slapp av med venner og familie i dette fantastiske ferie hjemmet.
