Monthly Rentals in Al Kobaneyah

We had a great stay in Aswan! Although our booking was originally for a different apartment, the host upgraded us to a newer, nicer one, which we really appreciated. The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with good Wi-Fi and everything we needed for our stay. It’s located above a small mall, and just one block away from a local shopping street where you can buy food and souvenirs. The Nile is about 200 meters away, and the boat port to Elephantine Island is about one kilometer away from the apartment. The area isn’t overly touristy; it’s more local, without tons of hotels or crowds, but it still had enough restaurants and shops for us to enjoy. The host was very responsive and resolved any issues we had quickly. Overall, it was positive experience!

What a wonderful stay on the Elephantine Island! The location was great as everything else. The host Saif is a gentle soul with many talents including healing, cooking, and painting. He prepared delicious omelet and guava juice every morning. Also we were treated to a delicious dinner at his friend’s cafe where we listened to a soulful Nubian Sudanese music while watching the rise of the moon over the Nile. What a lovely introduction to Nubian culture ! This experience restored my faith in people in Egypt after I encountered a predator host in Luxor earlier this month. Thank you Saif! The guesthouse is awesome, esp with the renovations being done. Awesome roof balcony overlooking the Nile, Aswan and the Island. Lovely garden area where you can relax, eat etc. We had a nice packed lunch for our Abu zsimbel trip. Friendly staff and easy to get to with public ferry and ashore walk. Can recommend!
