This is a little Oasis. We loved touring the gardens and saying hellos to the ducks and chickens. It was wonderful having three private rooms for our group. The local recommendations he provided were helpful. Make sure you order some of their baking and preserves while enjoying your stay. We were lucky enough to try their fare at the farmer’s market. Delicious!

We enjoyed every moment of our stay in the crow’s nest suite. It was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the ocean view, hearing the rain on the skylights and sitting by the fireplace. Thanks to Milan and Marnie for creating this peaceful little oasis. We can’t wait to come back!

Liz & Dean made it very easy to enjoy our time there. They were communicative & welcoming, & we still had lots of privacy. Surprisingly one of our fave days was the day spent home in the rain, the cottage was so cozy. The rest of the days were spent in the sunshine, wandering the island & at the beach. The internet was not reliable, so I should have made sure we downloaded shows/podcasts ahead of time but we had lots of books luckily. This is a great spot as a home base to explore Hornby & we are grateful they shared their property with us.

We would definitely stay again. It was a great place. Small and cozy. Host went out of his way to ensure we had a good experience.

It was an effortless stay, which was exactly what we needed. Very private and quiet location and everything listed was accurate. Heard nothing except birds. Watched deer being deer from the couch. Location was good for quick travel by car to town or trails and beaches.

Spent a few nights here for a couples getaway and loved it. The views from every corner of the cabin are stunning, especially from the patio. Our favourite part was relaxing by the fire pit and soaking in the hot tub while taking in the ocean view. The cabin is quiet, peaceful, and the perfect size for two. It was missing a couple of small essentials like paper towels or recycling bins, and the mini-fridge was quite small but nothing that took away from the overall experience. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had such a lovely stay! The space was beautifully decorated, very clean, and felt so welcoming — you can really feel the host’s great taste and thoughtfulness in every detail. It was cozy, peaceful, and made us feel right at home. We would love to come back every year if we can. Thank you for making our trip so special!

Norra Hem did not disappoint. Incredible views and a beautiful, peaceful setting. It’s like a Scandinavian minimalist dream. That smells like pine and ocean mist. A great place to relax, escape, and maybe even write a book. A truly unique yet modern property with all the amenities and comforts of home, but nicer.. and cleaner. Hosts were responsive and provided recommendations for things to see and do on the island. Will definitely be coming back!

We were thrilled with our stay at Alison & Zach's place. It was exceptional value. We had a long list of likes: - Friendly and responsive: including a fabulous nearby sunset beach reco on arrival. We were only an hour into our time on the island and were instantly blissed out. - Fun little snack finds in the kitchen like RX snack bars. Fantastic ground coffee (I need to ask them what it was!) - Plenty of clean delicious water from the tap or filter - Huge cozy bed with soft linens that felt like heaven after sun, sand and hiking - Gorgeous bathroom with lovely fancy soaps and luxurious shower head. Lots of towels. - Ultra-easy access to a pleasant trail immediately behind the property - Somehow, everything was just "together" while very chill and easygoing at the same time. A difficult balance. - Privacy. We weren't even sure anyone else lived on the property, although a few folks would briefly appear now and then. - Dog-friendly, no drama It's a special find in a special place.

Beautiful surroundings , outstanding view, tranquil setting, abundant sea life, very helpful hosts, well stocked kitchen, warm, clean space . Found walking trails to the nearby cafe and grocery , minutes away from the home , well stocked local grocer. Absolutely perfect !

Truly special magical place, an idyllic sancturary for the soul! The surroundings are truly beautiful, space is very private and peaceful, nestled in the trees. It was very special sitting on the deck in the mornings with a cup of coffee and just watching the birds enjoy drinking and bathing in the little fountains. So much joy. The guesthouse is equipped with absolutely everything and with the best quality items. It is sparkling clean, it is also very spacious and really beautiful. Bathroom is amazing. I would call the guesthouse very luxurious :) And the delicious treats and wine felt like a very special personal touch. I highly recommend Nadine's place. A special place and a special host. Denman island also was a beautiful island to explore, also it is close to the ferry for an easy day trip to Hornby island. Thank you very much, Nadine!

This cozy cottage had everything we needed and was well maintained with nice furnishings and decor! The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary cutlery, utensils, dishes etc and even had a full spice rack, full of a variety of spices! I really hope that we're able to make it back there again sometime in the not too distant future! Thanks again for everything Yelena!

Jonny’s place offered incredible access to the beautiful beach, a man amazing hot outdoor shower for a post-surf experience, and was cozy on chilly nights. We loved the quaint and Scandinavian design inside, and felt instantly at home!

Our stay at Tiki house was amazing! It was great to be back on chesterman beach. Beach was a short walk away. The key thing we found with this house was that it was well prepared for a weeks stay....kitchen well stocked with everything you need to cook, and there were SO MANY towels which was key as we all surfed! Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

Such a peaceful Airbnb for a long weekend! Beautiful view, cozy, and updated. Great location for exploring Ucluelet and Pacific Rim.

This place is in a stunning location! We hiked Mom's Trail nearby and visited Hornby Island the next day—both were unforgettable. The Airbnb itself is spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. Diana is a wonderful and responsive host. We’ll definitely stay here again!

An amazing stay, everything was perfect. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a cleaner rental ever! For a beach town, there’s not a grain of sand in the place, so clean and such a perfect spot. Hot tub is immaculate and private and the outdoor shower is perfect for after a surf. The hosts were the cherry on top. Couldn’t have been lovelier, we were so glad we got to run into them and we will be back for sure, hopefully we can catch them for a coffee in the sun next time!

We loved our stay. The decor was modern and sleek. The big windows let in lots of light and highlighted the trees in the surroundings. We loved how the place was so well designed with hooks and storage to keep things neat and tidy. We watched Netflix on the TV in the bedroom at night in the cozy bed. I would come back and stay again. The location was great and close by to restaurants.

Saltwood was absolutely magical and we really didn't want to leave. We stayed in the "Sea" unit and loved every minute. The ocean views are breathtaking, and being able to enjoy them from the private hot tub, the living room, and the primary bedroom was amazing. The shower is on the forest side of the property and makes you feel like you're amidst the trees. The place is just as lovely as pictured. We opted to spend most of our nights making dinner in the fully equipped kitchen, and had everything we needed. Saltwood is secluded and private but very close to restaurants, grocery, and a stunning coastal trail that we hiked the length of. Shoshana is such a kind host, thoughtful and responsive, and provided us with so many great recommendations. Honestly the only downside was not being able to stay longer. We will absolutely be back. If you're looking for the perfect getaway, this is it!
