Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Alberni-Clayoquot

Wonderful place in a perfect location close to town. Immaculate, modern interiors and very well looked after. The only change I’d suggest is that a 5pm check in is a little late especially with a 10am check out. Overall though, great place and would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at the treehouse & have already recommended it to others. We loved the atmosphere, so peaceful and relaxing. We loved the wrap around porch with the fire pit and the shower room was incredible. The only two things I would note are 1) The laundry room for the property, including other units, is along the side of the treehouse. There was no noise issues, however it does take away slightly from the overall privacy. 2) The loft stairs are steep and slippery. They could use some grip for safety. And just be mindful of the last step at the top of the loft stairs going up from the living room, just before the landing, as the gap is bigger than the other steps. It can throw you off as you’re going up or coming down. Overall we loved our stay and its location. We were able to walk to the public beach access point.

We loved our stay in Kristen's place - good proximity to the grocery store & restaurants, and close to the lighthouse loop. Easy to find and private, the glass doors that someone else mentioned being a downfall were not an issue for us (and because of them we got to see some deer!). The hot tub was a little hard to find because our first time we went looking in the dark (it's in the deck, with a cover with wood the same colour as the deck itself), but Kristen clarified and the next day we found it and enjoyed having access to it.

Loved our stay — extremely comfortable and well equipped house for 4 adults and a toddler! Alex was friendly and easy to communicate with. Easy to walk to the beautiful beach, coffee shop and restaurants. Would definitely come back!

Our stay was fantastic. The accommodation is extremely spacious and the kitchen and dining area were great for making meals. The location is amazing. Easy walk into downtown Tofino.

We would absolutely stay at Kevin’s again. Very comfortably fit 5 adults and a dog. Everything was very clean and tidy including the hot tub. Although our weekend was very wet, we felt relaxed with the comfort of our home away from home! There are plenty of games to choose from, it’s a short drive to town and close by restaurants and the local brewery. We didn’t get to enjoy the sunrise due to the weather but the view is gorgeous and peaceful despite that. We loved the open concept especially the spacious and equipped kitchen, which made cooking very easy and enjoyable. Decent beds too! These pictures don’t do the place justice!!! 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Kevin.

Brian was a great host who was friendly, flexible and hospitable. When we made a mistake with the hot tub despite reading the whole info binder he kindly sent us a reminder that was very helpful. The place was organized, clean and welcoming. This was our second time here and will likely continue to keep this on our list of places to revisit :) Thanks Brian!

We had a lovely stay at Kate and Fohla’s property. The home was beautiful, spacious and very well equipped with everything needed. The property was quiet with waterfront access and beautifully maintained. It was an easy 10 minute drive to Qualicum Beach. Kate and Fohla were very responsive to any questions or needs. We would certainly stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage north of Qualicum Beach. The property was perfect for our young family, and the hosts were absolutely fantastic. The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool area. The resort features a small hot tub with a mild temperature, which was ideal for our young kids. The cottage was well stocked with kitchen items and beautifully decorated, making our stay even more enjoyable. It was a nice, quiet resort and property, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would love to come back again. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and family-friendly vacation spot!

Lovely home to stay, quiet, spacious, good green space for dogs, super access to ocean, everything we needed. Beautiful grounds and landscaping. Two vehicles able to park outside at unit. Restaurants and shops 5-15 minutes away. Good beds and linens. Take your favourite staples if you cook in more. Quick responsive hosts.

Kate was very responsible about staying in touch with us and quickly resolving any small issues that came up - such as the replacement of lightbulbs that needed a ladder to reach! Marc was their handy man and he was kind and helpful as well!The house was perfect for two couples - including heated floors in both bathrooms! Both beds were very comfortable!There is a seperate room with workspace and a pull out couch. The kitchen was well stocked with dishware, kitchen tools and everything one would need. The back patio has a barbeque and nice seating around a table wilth a gas warming fire in the center. The home is in a sweet private gated community. Rt. 19-A runs along the backside of the property- seperated by a tall wooden fence and a few trees. The patio could be noisy at times. The rocky beach on the property is lovely - it was too far for my husband to access easily. The spot would be perfect for families and walkers. I enjoyed walking there! Thanks so much Kate!

Lovely weekend get away! Short drive to many beaches/surfing and within walking distance to town. We loved the location amongst the cedar trees- feels like you are in a forest! There is no stove or oven but the place was equipped with a hot plate, BBQ and lots of other cooking equipment.

Rebecca’s place was awesome! Very spacious, bigger than it looked, with a great patio - and nice location (walking distance to Chesterman Beach and food/coffee/gelato spots. She was very responsive as well - we hope to be back!

We had such a lovely stay! The space was beautifully decorated, very clean, and felt so welcoming — you can really feel the host’s great taste and thoughtfulness in every detail. It was cozy, peaceful, and made us feel right at home. We would love to come back every year if we can. Thank you for making our trip so special!

This was our second stay and we already can’t wait to be back again. It was the perfect space for a group vacation - we liked having the large common area to hang out in. Our host was very attentive and we appreciated all the amenities in the kitchen and bedrooms. A beautiful and peaceful place to stay and near lots of wonderful hikes and restaurants.

What a beautiful house in such a peaceful and magical setting. This place has everything to be comfortable, with plenty of space for our family of 5 and a fully stocked kitchen. It’s really the best place we’ve ever stayed. We loved the short walk to roam the beach every morning, usually with a stop for coffee and breakfast at the Beach Shack. Dawn and Asia were excellent hosts. We will definitely be back.

Our family had a fantastic 2-night stay at Tania's beautiful lakeside home. The location is truly stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake and a fantastic gravel beach including with a cozy little firepit. The house itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. Tania was a wonderful host – super responsive to our messages and we enjoyed our conversation with her. We also appreciated her discreetness, as she lives in the basement but we didn't even notice she was there. There were just a couple of minor things that could be improved for future guests: the fridge water filter could probably use a change, and unfortunately, the jacuzzi bathtub wasn't working during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing family vacation, thank you so much Tania!
