Vacation rentals with a kayak in Algoma District

Loved our stay at The Firefly, it was the perfect place to spend a week. The whole property was beautiful, we felt right at home. Will definitely choose this property again if we are back to the area.

We had a great stay at the Beachscape. Perfect location for a guys weekend ice fishing trip. Host was responsive and helpful. The cottage was spacious, perfect for a group of 4 or 5 people.

David was a professional host that provided a spacious and squeaky clean cottage for our family. The space was peaceful for our family of six and we had plenty of room to gather along with plenty of privacy. We enjoyed sightseeing, snowshoeing, and skiing in the region. David also left us an awesome apple pie that was the best I have tasted since my Grandmother's homemade apple pie.

I would highly recommend to stay here. beautiful scenery, had all the amenities that you could ask for. Very clean and comfortable . The host was very responsive and friendly. I will return :)

Great place to stay, good quality cookware exc.. Snowmobile Trail is very close and easy to get on. Exactly what we were after. The place was clean and comfy.

A stunning location , with the best views of the Lake Superior

We had a great time! It was so peaceful on the water and sitting on the back deck with coffee and a book was a great way to recharge! The house was homey and comfortable, our kids played the video games provided and we all played lots of board games! We did have to use the coordinates to find it since our GPS got us close but not quite there but once we typed in the coordinates, it took us right to it. We look forward to coming back another time!

We've been to the Sault area multiple times and Chippewa Cabin was our favorite stay yet. As avid cyclists and hikers, we greatly appreciated the central location to the trails to the south and the Provincial Parks to the north. Though the cabin is off the main highway, it feels very private and serene. The cabin, amenities and property actually made it difficult to want to leave to do other activities! We loved the sauna, fire ring and screened in porch. The cabin itself was perfect for our group of 6 six adults. We enjoyed group cooking in the well stocked, large kitchen area and family dinner in the beautiful great room. I immediately fell in love with the cozy vibes when we walked in and the handmade house socks were a favorite. Olli was a super responsive host that provided clear directions and was dedicated to making sure we had a wonderful stay. We hope to visit Chippewa Cabin again in the future!

I can't say enough how much we loved this home. The owners are super friendly people, and the place is absolutely stunning. The photos of the home itself don't even do it justice, we felt right at home as soon as we entered. Everything was so thoughtfully furnished, and had all the supplies you need for a comfortable stay. I could've spent days just wandering around that property and taking in the views. The lake, the trees, the rock formations -- all of it is so so beautiful. The hot tub and fireplace made for a cozy stay for some chilly October days. As two females traveling, it can be a little daunting staying in somewhat secluded areas. But we felt totally comfortable being there. The owners are located down the hill on the property, but plenty of privacy between the places! And since they're such great people it was nice knowing someone was nearby if we needed anything! We'll for sure be back to this lovely home

We had a pleasant stay at Fasel's place. There was enough space and the location is very attractive with access to the lake and beautiful surroundings. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great time on Dunlop Lake! Dale and Jess are amazing hosts, and my family and I had made a life time of memories in only a week! Amazing sunrises everyday, canoe trips and fishing daily with the kids. Already planning more trips to Elliot Lake and keeping Dale and Sunrise Bay in mind. A thousand thanks!!

Lovely stay, would book there again. Convenient to Sault Ste. Marie and yet completely private and remote.

We enjoyed our stay at Andy and Gail’s beautiful place on Lake Remi. We went there with two other couples for a skidoo getaway and were very pleased with our accommodations. The home was very well equipped and comfortable. We appreciated the pool table for the evenings and loved the well equipped kitchen for meals. It is located very close to the beautiful snowmobile trails and we loved the heated garage for our sleds. There was plenty of room to park our three trucks and snowmobile trailers. We would totally recommend this place for a great snowmobile getaway!

It was a perfect place to take our family to celebrate my 40th birthday! Jaime and Patrick were very responsive and had all the amenities! Our eldest daughter loves the water equipment and our youngest loved the outdoors! Would 100% recommend and would return!

Our family was here for a few days on our road trip. It’s definitely a more rustic cabin. But has amazing views and we definitely enjoyed kayaking and the beach. One thing that I didn’t realize before booking is this house is on land where other family is. We didn’t run into anyone (other than the step dad showing us around when we got there) but I feel it’s worth noting. The beach is on their property too. The house also had a lot of family photos and personal belongings. Which made it almost feel like you were staying in someone’s house. All and all, it was a good stay, just feel like these would be things that people may want to know.

Awesome location, and awesome property! The home is well stocked and actually has good cutlery so you can actually prepare decent meals here! So many air bnbs lack that, but not this one! Most basics for cooking were also stocked and there were afew condiments in the fridge. The sauna is top notch, and probably my favorite part of the trip.

We had a great time and enjoyed some awesome fishing adventures. The campground residents were very friendly and helpful! Would love to book another trip in the future.

It was our second time here and it was just as nice as the first time. we had a wonderful long weekend on the water and relaxing by the fire!

What an amazing place to stay. Beautiful spot, amazing host. Clean and peaceful! If you’re looking for a spot to kick back bbq, take in the view and be one with the land this is the place! The place has everything you need. Lots of room and is very cozy. The hosts did an amazing job on this build and satisfying all the needs and wants that a cabin should have. Fast internet, hot water, heat hydro and ac. Will be back for sure!

The cottage was just the quick, quiet and peaceful getaway I was looking for. The place was simple and comfortable for one person, with room for more, right on the water and offered an expansive lake with two additional connecting lakes you could kayak to. It was great to take a long swim and nestle back in the cottage with my coffee. My favorite part was waking up to views of the water with birds chirping and sipping coffee. It’s a great place for getting away to write, escape daily life and avoid holiday crowds. Lois was very responsive and we were able to meet and connect on our passion for Hawaii. She provided some nice perks like local coffee and bottled water stocked in the fridge. I hope to be a return visitor to this little gem. Thanks for everything, Lois!

Granary Lake Retreat is an amazing vacation spot for families with lots to do, and a easy going atmosphere. The hosts went above and beyond and the landscape is truly breathtaking. We'll be back.
