Vacation rentals in Almanor

We have stayed 3 years in a row. we will come back again next year. very peaceful, and quiet...our dogs also love this place. love the sound of the river and the trains. Ember and Chris had everything we needed for a memorable stay.

This was our 3rd stay at Denise’s home, and it’s just as amazing as our previous stays. I am thankful that we have found our home away from home in the beautiful Chester/Lake Almanor area. Her home meets my 3 “C” requirements for a good rental—-Clean, Cozy and Comfy😍I don’t even bother looking at other homes when I’m planning our vacations in Lake Almanor. Sabrina was very responsive and the place fit our needs well. It was very comfortable and easy to get in and out.

Truly an incredible Airbnb experience. The proximity of the cabin to the river is so close you can clearly hear the flowing water from the cabin. The forest is beautiful and old. Cabin is very cozy and perfect for the setting.

Christine's place is at such a beautiful and peaceful location with green pastures and mountains all around you. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we ever had. Night-sky watching at the hot-spring was so good and we highly recommend it! Christine, Christian and Mary Ann were so nice and welcoming, thank you for hosting us!

This is an absolutely stunning lake side home that had every amenity for families to make treasured lifetime memories. My favorite was the huge picnic table on the deck where you could have dinner and watch the sunset over the lake. Rich, is the perfect host, so flexible and responsive with anything you might need. My parents, husband and I enjoyed day trips to Lassen, fishing literally from the backyard and the beautiful scenery that surrounds this home. Quiet and peaceful, it’s the perfect place to get away from the stress of everyday life. Many thanks for sharing your home with us, we will be back!

Patti’s cabin was outstanding—beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and perfectly located. Patti was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

Very clean and comfortable. EV is an older model but feels quite decent. Kelly and Patrick are great hosts who shared local recommendations and let me charge my EV using my charger and their extension cord (I insisted paying for the electricity at a public charger's rate). My son and I walked to local restaurants and supermarket every morning and evening, and had a chance to extend our walk to Olsen Barn and Lake Almanor. This Airbnb unit and the tranquil town of Chester are both highly recommended!
