Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Alps

We had a great Easter weekend at Mathieu's! The cabin is very cute, the kitchen is very well equipped and it is very quiet with a beautiful sea view.

Tastefully renovated house in a village of character with lots of charm. The house is very nice and is much better than in the listing photos! The location is great for resting, walking and eating well. The locals are welcoming and put their heart and soul into showcasing their land. There's an excellent restaurant in the village that combines authenticity and refinement. Most of the products are made on site, including goat cheeses to die for. Lara welcomed us with great kindness. She also has a ceramic workshop with pretty pieces and makes products from strawberries and roses. This stay was a great discovery!

We had a great week staying at the family run apartment . A warm welcome by our hosts Ivan and Selena . A relaxing place to be with a great terrace and view on the bay . Beach , center and restaurants all a short walk away. We have been looked after really well. Thanks !

We had a great time at Carlo and Elena's. The fenced garden and pool were real pluses. Not to mention all the little touches that Carlo had for us, and even a gift for our little puppy. The accommodation is peaceful surrounded by mountains with beautiful views. We would recommend this house and its host because everything was perfect!

Aurora was a very responsive host and accommodated any needs we had. Place was as listed. About 30 min to downtown by bus. Be aware of the last bus back to the air bnb as we missed it and had to buy a taxi back. Overall a good place to stay if you want a peaceful stay outside of the city.

Property located in the city center, with possibility of street parking or nearby. We felt like we were in a small house in the city center. The neighborhood quiet condition and clean apartment. No problem.

The owner is kind and helpful, response to all our questions when we were there and the place is spacious and clean.

A small but well appointed apartment on a quiet street in a building with lots of charm. Americans may be initially perplexed but eventually delighted to find a small dishwasher under the oven. Separate washer and dryer —unusual in Europe to have a separate dryer—was a great advantage after several days in a hotel. Well decorated and comfortable with good light.

Thank you so much for staying, where we stayed with our 2 children. The place is peaceful and charming. Everything is within walking distance . I want to salute the extreme cleanliness of the place. It was a pleasure.

The studio proposed by Adrien is in all respects as described. It is quite suitable for a family with 2 children. Having the sofa in the living room is really no problem as it unfolds in a turn of hand, is very comfortable (160cm wide) and you wake up with a great view of the mountains. The terrace is very pleasant (sun until late afternoon). The apartment is very well arranged and offers plenty of storage. It is very well equipped, nothing is missing. Shops and restaurants nearby, the car stays in the garage. Ski-in/ski-out (a one-minute walk from the building door in April). The parking spot is perfect, very secure and covered. As for the ski area, it is just exceptional for its landscapes and amenities. Finally, Adrien sends a lot of information before your stay and answers questions very quickly. In short: a perfect stay! Excellent location, the apartment is beautiful, it has an amazing view and is very comfortable and well equipped, it has everything you need to feel like at home.

A superb base for group taking part in UTMB Chianti race weekend (around 20 mins drive). The estate’s red wine was particularly tasty way of celebrating. Love to return when warmer to relax by the pool, and enjoy the stunning views.

Wonderful house and surroundings !

We had the most relaxing week at Villa des Lauriers in Mazan! The house is nestled in the beautiful Provence countryside, with stunning views of vineyards and the gentle hills of the Comtat Venaissin. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to Carpentras and just a short drive from Avignon, which we took advantage of. The villa itself is spacious and well-equipped, with three cozy bedrooms (but we only used one since it was just the two of us) and a sunny, fully equipped kitchen. The highlight for us was definitely the fireplace—there’s nothing quite like curling up by the fire after a day exploring the region. The outdoor area is equally impressive. Even though we visited in winter, the south-facing terrace was perfect for soaking up the sun during the day. We also appreciated the terrace and the privacy of the whole property. We had a dreamy week! Marjorie and Sébastien, are extraordinary hosts! Because of their responsiveness and communication! The house stands out for the many entertainment options both indoors and outdoors! If sun: a hot tub as well as a beautiful pool , a shaded terrace,its sofa area for a friendly aperitif will be present If rain: a cinema ( like a real one) , a balneo, an arcade with a multitude of games available , a PS4 …. What happiness!! In short, enough to recharge but also visit ,close to Mâcon and its vineyards , Brancion castle, 1 hour from Beaune . We'll be back!!! We had a great (too short) stay at this place. Vincent was very welcoming and attentive and very helpful! The accommodation was impeccably clean, well decorated and very comfortable. We will come back without hesitation!

Absolutely recommended! Everything was great! The time in the villa was very pleasant and Maja was very helpful as a hostess, full of great tips and recommendations for activities and restaurants - all of them excellent. Villa very clean and spacious, modern and equipped with everything you could wish for, including a great grill. We will be happy to come back!

Villa Grgo is a very nice property and corresponds to the description and photos. The location is a little off the beaten track, but you can reach supermarkets, restaurants, cities and beaches by car in no time. The amenities are new and upscale. The pool was also cleaned for half of our stay, and we also regularly used the hot tub and sauna. Communication with the hosts was also great, helpful and fast. On request, we were also able to check in earlier. All in all a very nice stay in Istria.
