An ancient exterior, a modern interior. Our house was built on the ancient fortification wall of the Abbey. These 12th century walls are a feature throughout the house, and keep it cool in summer and warm in winter. All rooms have plenty of natural light, quality furniture, and all the homely comforts you need on your holiday. Only a 5 minute stroll to the river, 1 minute to bakeries and the village centre. The 11th century Abbey is behind our house, so only a short walk to go and explore.

Our character gite is a charming restored barn built in 1827, enjoying glorious elevated south-facing views over hillsides to a quaint village far below. The light-filled & spacious 90m2 gite has generous bedrooms, a large open plan living area and full kitchen. Stunning views from all rooms & the pool. Continental breakfast provisions included. A superb base for exploring and 'getting away from it all' in rural France, while remaining close to amazing sights and 5 mins from amenities.

Refurbished ,charming and atypical triplex apartment, nice view of the abbey, the river, the village roofs and the countryside in the distance. Close to shops and restaurants, the Dordogne river and its beaches. At 1: entrance, at 2: bathroom and toilet, bedroom (bed in 160) at the 3 living room. Townhouse above my carpet/seamstress workshop, you can even entrust me with repairs ( to be planned in advance) be careful, you have to be able to climb stairs. See you again ...

Great for cyclists, anglers and walkers, a well-equipped, cosy house, 3 minutes walk to central amenities, bars and cafes, and less than 10 minutes walk to the Dordogne River - far enough from evening terraces for a quiet night. Good storage for sporting equipment. There are pretty villages to mooch around, endless fishing spots, biking routes, summer evening markets, waterfalls, walking and wild swimming spots. Electric car charging at 20 paces.

Carefully renovated village house in the peaceful Corrèze countryside, crossed by our magnificent Dordogne, dotted with waterfalls, caves and chasms, and rich in its many castles and "most beautiful villages in France" (Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, Collonges-la-Rouge, Curemonte, Turenne...). Hiking, golf, canoeing, swimming or even hot air ballooning... there's plenty to do.
