Charming holiday home in beautiful Andøya

The house is located by the sea on the west side of Andøya in Nordland, with free view of the mountains, the sea and the large sandy beach below the house. The house is charming and consists of two floors plus basement. The property was originally a farm but now used as a vacation rental. The glass porch provides shelter for occasionally tough weather, and is to a lot of joy and coziness. In the evening you can enjoy lovely colourful sunsets and midnight sun during the summer months. In winter one can experience northern lights and stormy weather.

Enjoy peace and quiet in idyllic bleiksmarka in our small primitive cabin. Close to beach, sea, mountains and water. Here we can guarantee peace and quiet in beautiful natural surroundings. The cabin has a small kitchen with gas stove and fridge. Summer water. A bedroom with a double bed, a sofa bed in the living room and a small loft. In the cabin you will also find a small bathroom with portapotti toilet and sink. Outdoor summer shower. Wood burning for heating, only 12 volts, no mains power. Many hiking opportunities nearby

The fishing village Bleik in Vesterålen is a small village with about 500 inhabitants. An amazing white sand beach frames the village towards the clean ocean. Fuglefjellet Bleiksøya is just outside. Thousands of puffins and a large colony of sea eagles are nesting here. Take your big family with you or bring friends to this great place where there's a big tumbling spot. Unique beach, golf course, majestic mountains, fine fishing waters, friendly people, shop and cafe. Sea fishing, Puffin and eagle safaris.

Bleik, Gåsøya

Gåsøya 4 is our cabin which is idyllically situated at the water's edge on Gåsøya in the middle of Bleiksvatnet. It sleeps 4 guests. Two minutes drive from the parking lot up to the famous mountain top Måtind. The cabin has running water and electricity, hallway, two bedrooms, toilet room with shower, living room and kitchen. The lean-to is right on the waterfront. The boat house located between the gap and the cabin is equipped with benches and tables and is well suited as a living room.

Du kan gå rett fra huset til flere av toppene,du kan også fiske laks i vannet et steinkast unna,eller booke havfiske fra kaia (150 m) fra huset. Smia pub(100 m) er en gammel smie som er gjort om til bar som holder åpent om sommeren og hver fredag. Matbutikken/kafé har kaker og lunsj/middag om du ønsker det. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Originally, this was the old barn on the farm. The top floor was completely renovated and converted into a larger apartment in 2022. The ultimate starting point for trips along the beach on Stave, trip to Måtind, Høyvika or Skogvoll nature reserve. The apartment has skylights that make it perfect for watching the northern lights.
