Family-friendly vacation rentals in Appenzell Ausserrhoden

For our first vacation with baby, Anita and her family's place was perfect. She provided us with many baby utensils such as a changing mat, a crab blanket, a high chair and a parlor wagon. This was very handy. We felt very comfortable and hope to come back one day. Thank you!

We stayed with Nicole for the second time and had a very nice time again. The large terrace is just beautiful and our favorite place where you can relax wonderfully:-)

We felt very comfortable, there was everything your heart desires, the hosts were super friendly and accommodating, the alpaca hike was beautiful, the area is a dream, simply indescribably beautiful, we will come back very soon and are very happy. By the way, there are also plenty of supermarkets nearby. The place is highly recommended, thank you to the hosts

The apartment was just right – everything you need. The farm is right next to it, the cows are almost on the doorstep – our child of course found this super exciting! We were even allowed to help with feeding and really experienced work at the farm. There is a lot for children: vehicles to drive around, a trampoline, a swing and enough space to romp. The edge of the forest is about 10 minutes walking, perfect for small walks. There is also a barbecue area, great for a relaxing day. It is also not far to Lake Constance, and you can hike really nicely in the surroundings. We really enjoyed it – we'd love to come back!

Beautiful house, quietly located. Great conservatory. There is everything you need. During our stay the weather was very mixed, but with the fireplace you could get it comfortably warm. We had 2 small dogs with us, they also felt comfortable.

Perfect place for us to stay one night passing through. Very convenient, clean, easy.

Only stairs were noisy. Everything else was good

We were able to spend wonderful days with our two dogs in this enchanting chalet. The house is extremely cozy and warmly furnished. We enjoyed long hikes on site, which were great with the dogs. Karina is exceptionally warm, helpful and responds quickly. We will be happy to come back and highly recommend this charming chalet with fenced garden and great views.

We throughly enjoyed it, Patricia and her team are excellent host. They provided everything family need in the camp, we stayed in one of Chalets, was Cousy and pleasant. There was toilet and sink in our Chalet. Kids loves this place, there plenty for them to do including huge trampoline and swings, my kids made good friends there, we too had opportunities to meet lively families there to share our travelling experiences. Do not hesitate to book a place here if you in the north east Switzerland

We were received very personally and well instructed. View from the apartment and from the garden to Lake Constance is fantastic. Andrea and Thomas were always available for questions. We spent 4 wonderful days there. Thank you!

Patricia was very friendly and always informed us with and before our check-in. We felt very comfortable in the "Greenhorn", a paradise for families. Too bad the yurts were occupied, but next time we'll try our luck again. Thanks for the hospitality!

Truly amazing view, fully equipped modern kitchen and a comfortable bed. Walking distance to the town and to a beach.

Very well located accommodation in the area, surrounded by beautiful scenery and quiet. Typical chalet of the area. Vintage interior, very well equipped. Ceiling height indeed low for tall people but Ok for the others.

A stay immersed in nature, small but cozy structure with everything you need. We spent 4 days with our family (a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old). Claudia is a super nice and available host. I recommend this place. Top

Very cozy domicile. The dense oven makes the stay a homey experience. The weather wasn't great but still I saw how breathtaking the views are. A walk to the Winzenberg viewpoint is worthwhile.

The apartment and especially the terrace have a perfect view of the lake. The lake can also be reached in a few minutes (Lago Mio). We were warmly greeted by Vreni and always felt comfortable. The apartment is well-equipped and looks the same as shown on the pictures. We were particularly pleased with the equipment of the kitchen (spices, pans, pots, toaster ...). The only thing that bothered us about the apartment was the creaking bed in the bedroom.

If you want to get out of the comfort zone.. then this is the place for you.. it's a quiet idyllic village zone... it's really something different than weekdays. Taking a free shower... take a flashlight to the toilet,which is about 30 steps away,which is in the big house... it was a special experience!:)the view of the lake from the car is fantastic... thanks for everything:)

We really enjoyed our stay, such a beautiful location and it had everything we wanted.

The space is very nice, the house is wonderful, it is very pleasant to sit by the fireplace and listen to the piano while appreciating the wonderful view that the house has. It is 1 hour from Davos for people who want to ski. The hostess and her son are always attentive to help you with questions. If you stay in this house you will enjoy your vacation a lot
