Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Appenzell Ausserrhoden

I was warmly welcomed by Dijana. I was very surprised by the nice apartment. It is quiet and modernly equipped. Would love to come back. All in all, it was great.

Our stay with Stephan was great! He and his partner are very nice and accommodating people with a lot of hospitality. The room is simple but fully equipped. The rest of the house is very lovingly decorated and decorated. There are a lot of great plants... :) We were able to use his kitchen completely, it was everything your heart desires. We enjoyed it very much, we would love to come back.

The property is conveniently close to the train station (2 min) and you can reach St. Gallen by train, for example, in about a quarter of an hour. The area is fantastically beautiful and invites you to long walks and hikes. The space itself is completely as described. There is everything you need, so that longer stays are very possible. The hosts are always very friendly and helpful. You feel extremely comfortable here and can relax very well. I was very satisfied with my stay here and highly recommend this place.

An amazing location , just up from Trogen. A lovely place to stay for a quiet stay except for the cow bells. A lovely host.

I stayed at Ruth’s place for 1 month and everything was perfect. The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood and is only 10 minutes away from the city center by bus. The place was always clean. Also Ruth helped a lot with parcel deliveries etc. Would recommend this place and host to everyone. 10/10

Just wonderful! I needed peace, nature and air to breathe. Doris‘ paradise is the place to go! And Doris is the best host I’ve stayed with! Knowledgeable about herbs, art, crafting and cooking. She made me some super delicious meals i enjoyed so much! Thank you Doris!!

If you're looking for sun and tranquility in winter, you're in the right place. Hosts Remo and Jana went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The house is cozy and homely, but of course without much luxury for us it was perfect.

Overall, this was my 3rd stay with Annina and Nico. As before, it was just perfect all around. The accommodation is really nice and I can only recommend, especially if you attend a seminar at the WBZ, as it can be reached on foot in 5 minutes.

We loved staying at Werner's place. It was perfect for a few days stay, allowed us easy access Appenzell, and was a great spot for us to disconnect. The home was great, very quiet, clean, and had trails right out the door. Highly recommend if you're looking for a spot just outside of town.

Many thanks to Andrea for this excellent stay in St. Gallen while being a visiting Professor at Universität St. Gallen for two weeks. Andrea allowed a flexible check-in and supplied some food basics to get me started. Very much appreciated and Andrea is friendly and professional. The apartment is exactly as described, spotlessly clean and well furnished. A beautiful space. The kitchen is well appointed and had all the necessary bits and pieces. The apartment is only a 1km walk to the old town in St. Gallen, and a 5 minute walk up the hill to the main university campus. Andrea had tips for forest runs/walks, as well as advice on where to shop. All super helpful. I would certainly stay again.

Perfect location, walking distance to great restaurants and attractions and close by the train station. Its a beautiful place with a lots of character.

The apartment is nicely located and was very clean. It is also well and well equipped, there is nothing missing in the kitchen. Valdenia was always reachable and friendly. We felt very comfortable!
