The place was wonderful! It was clean and had a lot of extras to make the stay very comfortable. The fenced backyard was great for our puppy. Two washing machines! Beautiful screened in front porch! I could go on and on! If in the area I would definitely book again!

Easter 2025 - great stay! Nicely remodeled, very comfortable and clean. Beds and couches were very comfortable. The hot tub was a nice treat as well - would be especially so in colder months. We enjoyed movie night in the game room overlooking the lake after our relaxing hot tub massage, caught a 4-5-lb catfish off the dock, and got some really cool pictures of the family w/trees & lake in the background. They are still building up basic kitchen supplies, but it should be noted that Cody was extremely responsive and accommodating!! I knew I was planning to cook meals so asked in advance and simply brought anything else I needed. Amenities should be edited to read “Keurig” rather than coffee pot 😊. Also, not pictured in the listing, the home does have a dining table for four people. We needed more seating, so we brought an extra card table and four chairs. I would definitely recommend Cody ’s place, and hope to stay here again next time we visit our Louisiana family. Thanks Cody! *****

This was our 2nd stay and we went back because the property is in a perfect location for us, the rooms are large and Ginger has thought of everything. We highly recommend her place. We felt comfortable arriving late at night, it was very peaceful and she has it fixed up super nice! We will be back for sure when we travel to that area.

This has been the most thoroughly enjoyable rental we have ever stayed in! If you have no reason whatsoever to go to Haynesville, go anyway! Book this house and soak up all the wholesome farmhouse charm your soul needs! It has big windows to take in all the wholesome heartwarming scenery, and stunning second floor views. The dogs are the most well-mannered greeters. They don't bark when you pull up, they greet you with wagging tails and will happily accept head scratches if offered but they don't impose. Every inch of this property is so therapeutic and good for the soul! Mr. Glenn, our host, was extremely attentive, welcoming and hospitable! Just the best experience! This place gets all the stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Words and pictures don't do this place justice. Perfect is an understatement, we loved the home! We had an incredible stay, and everyone had the best time. The house is full of warm, welcoming touches, everything from the house's layout, personal touches, and cleanliness to the amazing location on the lake made for a vacation we will remember forever. We were able to safely beach our boat. I can't say enough good things about Leighanna. She was quick to respond to any questions. She was willing to help with all our needs. The place is lovely, location is beautiful. We stayed there with family to attend a wedding. Has a great time. Wishing we had arrived a couple of days sooner to just chill in this gorgeous location.

The Sommers' home is absolutely beautiful, and our stay was nothing short of amazing. The check-in and check-out processes were seamless, and the hosts were incredibly responsive. When we encountered an issue with the upstairs thermostat, they had someone there to resolve it within the hour. We completely understand that unexpected situations can arise, and they handled it promptly and professionally. The house itself is spacious and perfectly suited for our large family. I would highly recommend both this home and these wonderful hosts to anyone!

My mom passed right before Christmas and Kia allowed us an early check in and made accommodations for us to stay much longer than the original reservation. This allowed us to make arrangements and attend her service with no worries about were we would stay. The place felt like home and was more than enough space for us to grieve and celebrate Christmas. Everything was clean and like new. Snacks were provided and the home had everything we needed to be comfortable. Thank you!
