Beautiful Hideaway in the hills of trás os montes

This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

Quinta Vila Rachel - Winery - Flora House

Quinta Vila Rachel is located in the Natural Park of Vale do Tua, in the heart of the Douro Region, with an activity focused on wine tourism and the production of natural and organic wines. Our Farm offers its guests an organic pool where they can relax enjoying the unique landscapes of the Tua Valley. The Farm also have wine tasting activities, where the latest harvests can be tasted, as well as visits to the cellar and vineyards, where the organic and sustainable production is practiced.*

Casa da Mouta - Douro Valley

House with 2 bedrooms and a living room ideal for families, overlooking the Douro River. The house has been completely remodeled, has an open space environment with 1 bedroom with a queen size bed and a sofa that can be converted into a king size bed. For an immersive experience in the midst of nature with mountain scenery, it is the perfect place to rest and enjoy. Pets are allowed. 6 km from the Azibo reservoir, 5 km from the center of Macedo de Cavaleiros
