This 422 acre preserve features miles of hiking, horseback riding trails, mountain bike trails, kayaking and more.

Our building was built in 1930. The apartment was originally a boarding house that sat above a retail store. While it has been fully remodeled, the exposed brick walls, wood floors, transom doors, and much of the trim are original to the building, retaining its ninety year old charm. The sitting area and the front bedroom each have a door that opens onto the balcony that over looks the downtown entertainment district. Clover's cabin is a very cozy little place on Straight Mountain on a very curvy road. Update: We now have WIFI. Beautiful view in the winter, you can see for miles. Lots of tree coverage in the summer, which brings privacy. It sits about 200 feet from our home. A nice quiet place other than the animal noises. You can hike right out the back door. Please read entire guest manual under INFO FOR GUESTS, POST-BOOKING DETAILS. Give Code word to confirm it was read. Thank you

Nestled in the community gardens of Nomad’s Land is an earthen hobbit house, with a living roof and a bottle wall that lets in glorious colored sunlight. Our hobbit house is constructed from raw wood beams taken from local woods and non-traditional building styles. Snuggle into the queen size canopy bed and enjoy a retreat into the Shire. Brew a fresh cup of coffee and enjoy the morning bird song, chicken a in the nearby garden and sounds of nature.
