We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The pool was definitely the highlight—super clean and perfect for relaxing. The sitting area was also very well-maintained and comfortably accommodated our group. Everything was tidy and thoughtfully arranged. The caretaker was kind and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway! Worth every penny we spent on this property.

Haruka and Tomoya san’s place is the place to be if you would like to experience the true yakushima nature. Not only the surroundings of the accomodation but the people you are surrounded by and get to interact with day to day really was the highlight of the trip. We had the best time learning to cut sashimi and talking to the family over the dinner table together. Haruka san was super responsive and helped us above and beyond a regular airbnb host - helped us find a rental car, and made restaurant bookings for us since we didn’t have a phone number. Truly grateful to have met her. The location is convenient with a car, 5min drive to Anbo (the port, restaurant and a supermarket). Also, 9min drive to Jomon Sugi trail bus stop, 25min drive to Hirauchi Kaichu Onsen (highly recommend and the family will be able to tell you when the low tides are during the season). It was a beautiful slow living experience and would love to be back soon!

je recommande vivement ce logement. Bob a été un hôte génial, vraiment super. Il est venu nous chercher à l’aéroport et nous a prêté une moto puisqu’il a dû nous changer pour un logement plus petit mais sincèrement, cela nous a bien aidé. Ce logement est super pour être proche de la ville et des randonnées en même temps. l’endroit est super mignon, les chiens aussi. Merci encore pour ce séjour super Bob !

An absolutely incredible place, in an incredible location, with an incredible host. I really can’t fault our stay. Emi was always responsive and serviced the house daily during our 3 night stay—didn’t expect this at all. She was responsive when we had questions. She waved us off. She was the cherry on top for our stay. The property itself—wow! Beautifully finished and well-appointed. We used the sauna and the plunge pool a couple of times a day and admired the views and the Sakura out of the window in the sauna. We dined once for lunch at Cafe Sakura, next door to the house. Amazing food and hospitality. The only thing I could say that’s remotely negative about the place—the bed rolls mightn’t be to everyone’s liking, but hey I slept on one of the ‘western’ mattresses and it was very comfy; and the kitchen is tiny which was a little challenging as we chose to stay in and cook some amazing local product but hey, it is ideal for the space and for most people’s needs. 100 out of 5

This villa is perfect for a group that wants to hang out together and eat local food cooked by the wonderful Chef Jacob. The housekeeper Roman will also help you sort out laundry via a pick up and drop off service and were friendly and lovely people. Happy to stay in a place that supports small local businesses rather than big hotels

My family & thoroughly enjoyed our stay Al & Nok. It is a peaceful oasis outside the city of Chiang Mai & just what we needed. We were able to enjoy some downtime at the property and felt at home. They made some good recommendations for things to do and places to eat and as we had our own car everything was easily accessible. Would come back & stay again! Thanks Al & Nok.

Our family had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at Jitrada’s place. It is a very special place which surrounded by trees. We also love the Lana style rooms. Overall, we had a great stay. There are now words to describe the beauty of the place Mayuri and her family have created. It is simply amazing and worth a trip to Chiang Rai on its own. That is not to say you should expect everything to be 100% perfect and always absolutely quiet (at times one can hear the nearby village life). However, the atmosphere is serene, the nature and facilities (incl. pool area and garden) beautiful, the food amazing and the hosts extremely friendly and welcoming. One of our best Airbnbs ever.

Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip to Chiang Mai. The house and property are absolutely stunning, and made for a great reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city. Waking up in such a unique space was so relaxing, and having coffee and breakfast in the morning was an unexpected delight! Perhaps my favorite part was the darling kitty Lucy who we absolutely fell in love with. We will definitely look forward to booking again on our next trip here!

Bob’s place is unique. If you like places and objects with a story and don’t mind a little DIY, you will love this place and will feel at home. A place to hang out for a little longer. Bob is always there for help and a chat. The neighbourhood also has many local gems to discover: potteries, woodcraft shops, antique shops, hikes, rivers, .. and still you can visit Chang Mai if you like.

Wie haben die Zeit bei Alastair & Nok sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und dadurch, dass diese etwas außerhalb von Chiang Mai liegt, super geeignet für alle jene die sich nach etwas Ruhe sehnen.
