A quiet 2 bedroom villa offering amazing sea views and sunset located 3min walk from the center and beach of Assos the most beautiful village of Kefalonia.
“We loved everything about our stay here! We were greeted with wonderful little snacks and gifts. The host met us super late at night and was so incredibly sweet. She gave us all the local tips and recommendations based on our interests. The villa is in a perfect location and is more beautiful than the pictures. Behind the villa runs a small path down to the sea for secluded swimming. The town of Assos is quiet and has the most kind people with a few restaurants and a couple mini markets. We explored the north part of the island without issue with our rental car, which we parked at the villa. We will definitely make our way back to this beautiful place!”

“We've just had a superb week, and I can vouch for all the excellent points that other reviews have mentioned. Rather than simply repeat them, here are a few thoughts for the benefit of anyone thinking of booking. We were a party of four fit and healthy adults. Originally I intended bringing my son's family, with two boys aged 4 and 1. The pool is safely gated, but there are many sheer drops and steps without handrails. I think that the children would have been a worry, and I'm not sure that I will relish 40 such steps (down to the lane from the terrace) when I've another couple of decades under my belt! I hasten to add that this is standard in Greece - everywhere you go, there are stone steps requiring care, and falling does not bear thinking about. Kefalonia has salty mains water, surprising but true. You will get through a lot of bottled water. The nearby supermarket sells 6 x 2 litre packs cheaply and in abundance, and the recycling skip is just up the road. Showering in slightly salty water is no problem and might even do you good. You will be offered extra cleaning and bed-changing, and the overall level of maintenance is excellent. The pool is looked after very well indeed. Cleanliness everywhere is superb. There is no shortage of towels but bring or buy your own beach towels. Kitchen stocks are variable, so you can find yourself buying pepper but not gin!!! And loo rolls but not peas. I've suggested that this ought to be made clear, so that nobody arrives with any expecations. It's rather good that guests are leaving pleasant and unexpected freebies for those that follow. The space in this property has to be experienced to be believed. There is a lot of privacy between the two main sleeping areas, and on each floor there is a big en-suite bathroom plus a separate shower room with loo. The showers are a delight and we never ran out of hot water despite power cuts... ...which are not unheard of. On a thundery day plan ahead by boiling the kettle! Bring plenty of torches and please don't wear out the batteries in the property's two blue emergency torches. The upstairs double bedroom has its own terrace, and the pool too is a separate area and very private. There is so much space for togetherness and separateness. We are really taken by Assos and its beautifully clear and clean harbour swimming off the beaches. My favourite walk is on the castle hill, but keeping to the extreme left from the start. After entering the arched doorway, you turn sharp left and, after a bit of a scramble, find yourself at a fabulous lookout. In summary, thank you so much, what a place!”
The apartment is in a very relaxing and quiet part of the village. It has a bedroom, an open plan kitchen lounge and a bathroom. The living room has 2 sofa beds to accommodate 4 people. The décor is classic with little touches of modernity. The visitor can create a delicious dinner by cooking in the apartment's kitchen and enjoying it on the balcony of the apartment with a glass of robola.
“As a couple, we had everything we needed from the accommodation. The description does not do the apartment justice and we were sad to leave as it had started to feel like home. Both being vegan, the kitchen saved us and allowed us to cook and prepare with the option of sitting on a huge balcony with the most amazing views in the morning and at sunset. The walk down to the main town of Assos (which was the perfect place for us to stay and we would highly recommend it to others) was accessible and close to everything we needed to get to. The parking was a bonus and very much appreciated. The apartment was spotless and there were small personal touches in place that made us feel very welcome. The couple living downstairs were lovely and an absolute pleasure to talk to. A great place that we would highly recommend to others (couples, friends, families) and worth every penny. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.”
