The renovation has updated the performance of the house, including thermal insulation, earthquake resistance, and soundproofing. It looks like an old traditional house, but the interior is a modern Japanese-style, relaxing space with plenty of local Nara wood. It's warm in winter and comfortable in summer. There is also a wood-burning stove, so you can spend a special time gathered around the flickering flames. "A land of scenic spots loved by Manyo people" Miyataki, a small village in Yoshino, is a World Heritage Site and is also known as the "best cherry blossom spot in Japan".This Miyataki used to have an emperor's imperial palace called "Yoshino Palace", and it is also a deep historical place where the Jinshin War took place.Many many songs celebrating the scenery of this Miyagaki are housed in the collection of Manyoshu. And the area where the Yoshino River flows is known as one of the best river play spots in the Kansai area, and it is bustling with many river guests during the summer vacation. We decided to renovate a 100-year-old house where grandparents lived for many years as an umbrella and lantern artisan in Miyataki, and revived it as a "Cho Lan Inn". It is an inn that is easy to use by a large number of people, such as multiple households and friends, making use of the location "just a short distance to the river where you can play". We hope you can use it as a base for sightseeing in Yoshino, river play, and BBQ while feeling the breath of history and nature. Kashinoki-an, a spacious, authentic Japanese-style inn with a beautiful garden and Japanese dolls and kimonos on display, 3 minutes from the station

Kashinoki-an is in a very convenient location, just a 3-minute walk from Kintetsu Kashihara-Jingu-Mae Station. Kashihara Jingu Shrine is a historic town with the mausoleum and shrine of the first emperor of Japan, in the place where Japan began. It is also a place with a lot of greenery and nature. In the neighborhood, there is Asuka, which retains the appearance of ancient Japan, and is dotted with many ruins. Imai-cho, where the old streets from the Edo period still exist, is also a highlight. Kashinoki-an is a pure Japanese-style house built over 60 years ago, and you can also enjoy the garden. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated for a pleasant stay. There is also a tourist information center, restaurant, tavern, supermarket, drug store, convenience store, and 100-yen shop nearby, making it very convenient. You can also get to Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara in about an hour.

The scenery of Japan's first capital, Asuka, has been preserved by the Asuka Law for 1400 years without change. There you will find nostalgic Japanese original scenery that will soothe your heart. The inn is located in the heart of the village, Asuka Village, in the Asuka area. The exterior of the inn is made of Yoshino cedar and finished with plaster. The interior is decorated with joinery and stairs relocated from a 100-year-old private house, and a single board of Yoshino cedar. The interior is finished with traditional Japanese tatami mats, floor-to-ceiling and decorative pillars, and numerous props, making it an accommodation where you can feel Japanese tradition everywhere. Nearby, you can feel the history of ancient times with Japan's oldest Asuka-ji Temple and Asuka-za Shrine, which is also famous in the Nihon Shoki.

Makomo House is located in a mountain village at an altitude of 500 m on the Oku-Mikawa Plateau in Nara The 100-year-old house is a private rental. Makomo-no-ta, which is said to be "the grass where God dwells", spreads around the inn, and you can relax in your room and feel the "Makomo breeze". You can enjoy the "Medicinal Herb Makomo Bath" at the Irori back table and the Goemon bath, where the well water is heated with firewood. A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away.
