Welcome to Gite Des Roses, set within a 300 year old farmhouse surrounded by the Normandy countryside. Myself, my husband, our dog, cat and 5 free range chickens love it here. Our private one bedroom Gite has been fully renovated to a high spec in 2022 and is ideal for couples wanting a relaxing holiday yet only a 5 minutes drive to the nearest town with all amenities. In the countryside 3.5km outside of Sourdeval this house offers a great base from which to explore all that Normandy has to offer. The house features two bedrooms, each with comfortable double bed and private bathroom. There is a light filled kitchen and down the spiral staircase there is a large open plan living and dining room with a log burner. Outside there is a patio surrounded by a large garden, complete with barbecue area, a hot tub and an indoor heated pool . On site parking.

There is a private section of the garden exclusively for you with charcoal BBQ and seating areas. The property is located 6 metres from the River Orne giving you unique views from the lounge and bedroom. Towels, Bed Linen and Tea towels are included The property is not accessible for people with reduced mobility The bathroom has a walk in shower (no bath tub)

Above the scenic Varenne river valley, this 300-year-old stone cottage has spectacular views of the chateau above and the ancient Notre Dame church below. Complete with a private meadow garden, we are just a 5 minute walk into the medieval city of Domfront with its cafes, bars, restaurants and many a boulangerie. Rich with history, beautiful flowers and breathtaking views of the sweeping woodland valley, it is a timelessly beautiful landscape.

This stylish place to stay is perfect for couples. It is close to the city center on foot, close to the lake on foot 1.3 km close to shops, close to the Bagnole de l'Orne terminal cure 7 km. Quiet accommodation, very well insulated, on the ground floor, small terrace lined with rose bushes. Minimum bed linen is provided: pillowcases, fitted sheet and mattress. If you wish, missing bed and bath linen for 15 euros.

Enjoy a bright townhouse with the possibility of parking a vehicle in front of the house or in the nearby parking lot. All shops within walking distance (bakeries, butchers, tobacconists, grocery stores ...see my guide ), bus station and SNCF. Very well equipped accommodation.
