I was part of a wedding party for days-long wedding festivities up the road and Jeremy and Rae's Tiny House was the perfect retreat from the chaos – as well as a blissful place for us to do hair and makeup looking out over the peaceful paddocks! Jeremy and Rae are super lovely, helpful and friendly and I really appreciated the little extras – from chocolate biscuits in a tin, to bringing coffee while we were getting ready for the wedding. Highly recommend The Tiny House for a rural escape that's not too far from AK City!

Absolutely stunning and peaceful chalet with beautiful surroundings! Could not have found a better paradise with NZ native birds chirping outside. Hosts Charles and Nikki were very responsive, friendly and helpful :) The place was very clean and well equipped. The spa was truly a cherry on top during the stay! A dream come true! Highly recommend this private secluded place for a weekend get away!

Nestled very close to the beautiful Chelsea Heritage Park and iconic Chelsea Sugar Refinery, this is a lovely, spacious guest suite in a quiet location. Tracey is an awesome host; warm, friendly and most accommodating to our needs from the start of our stay to the finish. We were relieved to find that she had kindly provided fresh milk, orange juice, coffee, teabags and snacks when we woke up on the first day after a very late arrival the night before, due to a plane cancellation. The beds are comfortable, the place is clean and you feel right at home in the lounge overlooking a gorgeous, well-established garden. It was lovely to sit on the patio with a freshly-brewed morning coffee listening to the range of dawn birdsong. Although we didn't use it, the pool area was lovely too. All in all, a solid recommendation for this gem in a lovely spot. Thank you, Tracey!

George was very through. Clean place. One bed with kitchennette. Hot tub was great. Safe location. 30 min drive to downtown. Parking in driveway. The Airbnb is on the smaller side if you need space for luggage

Thankyou for my 3 day city slicker holiday. It was the gym and pool that initially attracted me to this listing (didn't get round to enjoying it...maybe next time). The apartment is a surprisingly peaceful retreat that's 'tucked away from everything busy' in the heart of the city. It had all the modern home comforts (which made it easy to keep clean) and it was nicely presented. I enjoyed R&R out on the deck (it was a great sun-trap) and stretched out on the couch watching movies. The bed was super comfy too. Perfect me time! Easy access to get to and from the motorways, and the carpark was a blessing. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in Grace's place. Great location, great views and cozy house. Beaches on both sides, close to Half Moon Bay .... Everything as advertised!

Great stay for the night on Waiheke! The house has stunning views and is very spacious. Driveway and steps up are quite steep so was a bit tough to get up the first time but other than that great place to stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mary Ann’s house, Ara Station! Mary Ann was incredibly kind and welcoming, and we thoroughly enjoyed her delicious homemade breakfast. She even provided some toys for our 5-year-old daughter, which she absolutely loved! The house itself is beautiful, filled with natural light, and offers an amazing view. It’s so peaceful and quiet—falling asleep to the sounds of birds and the ocean was perfect. We enjoyed walking to the lake and even further to the waterfall. The lake is wonderful for swimming, and Mary Ann’s recommendation to visit Fairy Falls was spot on—it was absolutely stunning. After a long journey, this was the perfect place to arrive and unwind. We highly recommend staying here!

Ian and Ailsa were so kind and took initiative to help us when needed. They respected our space and they were very quiet. Ian and Ailsa were so warm-hearted toward us. They made us feel welcome but most importantly safe by meeting us at check-in to introduce themselves. Our little family appreciates the yummy snacks, lovely bedding and coziness Ian and Ailsa had to offer! Highly recommend the stay everyone! 🥰

Property was ideally situated and within easy reach of the harbour and showground, but an Uber is the cheapest and best way of getting around the city

What a magical place!! We feel completely recharged after our stay at Emma's beautiful holiday home. A great getaway for every age, spaceous inside and out, and with lots to do, but quiet enough if you enjoy your tranquil moments. Emma is a fantastic host, very responsive and caring. Will be back in a heartbeat, absolutely love this place!!

We really liked staying in this house. It’s a really great beach house that is quite comfortable and has heaps of personality to it. The views of the Tasman and the nearby dune fields are unbelievable. Paula was such a friendly and effective host. She gave us great advice on how to reach a nearby lake by trekking over the dunes. Definitely want to go back!

Fantastic location, easily walkable, and within close distance to the bus from which you can access the rest of the island. We liked the little details included, and found the outdoor area just lovely. We would definitely stay here again! We also found the check-in instructions very easy to follow.

This was a great apartment to stay in, super easy to get in (very detailed instructions), handy to the Wynyard Quarter and the Viaduct. Great views, nice and spacious - fantastic for a group.

Really loved our stay at this absolutely stunning apartment - super comfy, clean and well-equiped with everything we needed. Electric blanket came in handy, kitchen was well-stocked and check-in was easy. Also really handy being so close to Britomart Station and an array of great CBD restaurants. Truly an amazing apartment - highly recommend and would love to stay here again!

Outstanding stay at Valeria’s place! The artful personal touches make the apartment chic and cozy. It has every amenity you could want or need, and the location is easy walking distance to Ponsonby and the CBD. Five stars all around!

What a wonderful place to stay! We were travelling with our 1 and 3 year olds and Natalie’s place was perfect. The pool and trampoline, and a little pack of fun things Natalie put together for the kids, kept us all happy and feeling very much at home. The house and yard are even nicer than the pictures, and the location is amazing. Thanks for everything.

All of Dan’s communications with me were automated and did not answer my question about using a bus and not renting a car to reach his place. His rough gravel driveway is off a steep winding road. It is a dangerous place to walk, especially with heavy luggage and a backpack. A taxi is an expensive alternative. I chose this rental because it seemed to have a completely kitchen to cook my meals. If you plan to cook, bring all your essentials supplies, including paper towels, which Dan said he doesn’t supply. The refrigerator is small as is the tiny freezer with a broken door. Thankfully, there is a kitchen sink to wash your face. The minuscule bathroom sink is only functional for handwashing . Studio One has good visual barriers with the rentals on each side. Jackson the resident dog occasionally comes by to survey the property, and appreciates your affectionate pats. He is possessive about his sticks!
