We loved our stay in this beautiful house, stunning location near the water, beautiful gardens and deck outside and stylish interiors. Easy to explore the island from this location, and we enjoyed bush walks and runs on the nearby tracks to the closer beaches. The owners live next door a d were very kind and helpful.

Relaxing waterside escape with stunning views We had such a wonderful stay at this beach house. The views of the water were absolutely breathtaking — you could see and hear it from the house, and it was just a short walk away. The house was full of charm, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals at home. Our host was incredibly helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. This place is perfect for anyone wanting a peaceful, laid-back waterside getaway. Highly recommend!

A magical secluded gem, from the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and immersed in nature with the creekside spa and beautiful native birds. The fireplace was a cozy addition. A short drive to local restaurants and attractions. 🌿

We had a lovely stay at Lydia’s. My partner and I stayed here for the Easter break with our almost two year old. The location is beautiful and the property catered for our needs perfectly. We enjoyed exploring the property, as well as nearby beaches. Lydia’s communication was above and beyond expectation and in addition, we were thrilled to find a little Easter egg hunt organised by Lydia’s kids. We’d love to stay again

Staying with Michael and Jenny was a real treat to start my holiday in NZ!! I have stayed in many Airbnbs, and they were the most hospitable hosts I have ever had. They let me check in early right after my long haul flight, so I didn’t have to worry about where to spend time with my luggage. The salt water pool is peaceful and clean. The shower pressure is divine!! And most of all, I enjoyed getting to know Mike and Jenny and meeting their friends at some fine local establishments. It really felt like I was staying with friends. As a solo traveler, this is the best place to begin your trip!!

Thanks again! Very nice, spacious apartment with a beautiful seaview. The aircon is very good and the TV is very big. Really appreciate the late check out time! And really appreciate the welcome Christmas gifts. *The place really needs a smoke alarm in the kitchen area, made us a bit nervous that there's none for when cooking *The hot water jug needs to be replaced as its not hot it only gives warm water *The toilet is creaking a bit, it needs to be looked at for maintenance

Monika was a great communicator and easy to deal with. My booking was a last minute decision as the aircraft I’d just boarded pushed back for an international flight into Auckland landing after midnight. Monika left a light on for me and made it easy for me to enter her place after 2am 🥱. Quiet private location and I recommend this place. I would stay here again.

What an amazing apartment!! We loved everything about it....it is stylish, well equipped and in a great location. Everyone mentions the views but you have to see them for yourself to truly appreciate them. Doug is an excellent host...always quick to respond and extremely welcoming. I would recommend this apartment as something very special.
