Situated on a private acreage within Whiterock Conservancy, guests can easily access 40mi+ of scenic hiking and mountain biking trails, float the nearby river, or enjoy dark sky viewing. A "rookery" is a nesting site for herons, a bird that prefers quiet, undisturbed habitat near water. And so the Rookery Cottage seeks to provide a natural escape from the daily grind.

For your security we have a trail camera at the beginning of the driveway that won’t intrude on your privacy.

Pets are not allowed on property.

Whether you are in town for the Holidays, enjoying family, a wedding, a visit to the Distillery, or any other event in town this home should meet your needs. Whether you need 1 bedroom or the whole house we offer the Cottage which sleeps 8 guests OR we now have the Loft above the garage in the backyard which sleeps 3 guests. Beautifully decorated 660 Sq. foot cabin. Two Open loft bedrooms with one queen size bed, two twins and a queen air hide-a-bed. One bathroom with shower and sink. Kitchen includes small refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Cabin is equipped with satellite TV, and a serene experience in the woods! Only 1.5 miles off of Interstate 80 in Earlham, IA.
