Great cabin with lake views and good hiking opportunities

Great, newer cottage with a lovely view over Storsjøen. The cabin is located in a small cabin area with about 50 cabins. Short distance to the lake where you can swim in high bathing temperature, various water activities and fishing in the summer. The place has two nice beaches, one of which is long and suitable for children. In the area there are also many nice hiking trails and great ski trails. In winter there is ice on the water, with the possibility of ice fishing, skating or other activities. The cabin area is child friendly, and closed with a gate only for residents.

Newer cabin of 136 m2 located on the east side of Odalen's pearl, Storsjøen. Here you can enjoy your vacation with family or friends. It is a peaceful little cottage area with about 50 cottages. Short distance to the lake for swimming, fishing and other water activities. Storsjøen is shallow and has high bathing temperatures of about 22-26 degrees. The area has 2 beaches, a long beach that is suitable for toddlers and one with more depth for the slightly larger ones. There are also many hiking trails to explore and small fishing waters in Odalen.

Cabin, Garden, Beaches, free loan of Canoe

Closed child-friendly area where only residents have access to the road barrier. In summer, there is the possibility of swimming, fishing or hiking on prepared trails. With a canoe you can visit several islands in the lake. Free loan of canoe. The cabin is only a 1 hour drive from Gardermoen Airport. In winter there is the possibility of ice fishing on the lake or cross-country skiing on great ski trails at Trondsbu (18km, must have a car) 550 MOH. Ice fishing on Storsjøen? After a gravel road up on a mountain in the heart of the Finnish forest, you will find the tranquility of this little gem with everything needed for a wonderful holiday. Here you live with the silence in the middle of nature, right by a lake but with all the amenities you might need. In the surrounding area there are several lakes and nice fishing waters, the opportunity to pick berries and mushrooms, hike or why not take a trip up to "Rännbergs Toppen" (hiking trail up to a nearby mountain peak)

Come enjoy this quiet lakeside setting. The property is situated on the edge of the forest, 100 m from a small lake that connects to Storsjøen. There are plenty of hiking tracks in the forest, and we have two bikes for rent so you can explore the countryside roads. Storsjøen is a large lake great for fishing both in the summer and winter. In the summer, you can take the river down to the village of Skarnes, situated on Norway's longest river Glomma. We have a boat, a canoe and a kayak for rent.
