The apartment is located on the Presqu'île, in the hyper-center of Lyon, 200 meters from Place Bellecour, close to Perrache train station and a few minutes walk to old Lyon. All local shops are easily accessible. You can enjoy your stay by moving around on foot or with the TCL (Transports en Commun Lyonnais). Two Vélov stations are less than 50 meters from the residence. The apartment (45m²+ private patio) is located on the banks of the Saône, a 5-minute walk from the historic old Lyon district. Located on the 1st floor (no elevator), hillside of an old building on the bank of the Saône river, the building corridor is a little rustic (17th century). The apartment has been fully redesigned, keeping its authenticity. I made it my refuge, away from the hustle and bustle of Lyon. However, this place is not to everyone’s taste 😊. I describe later the pros & cons.

Small fitness bonus: the apartment is on the 3rd and last floor (without elevator)... perfect for concrete calves!

For a short or long stay, you will be in the historic heart of Lyon in this apartment that my wife and I renovated for 6 months until February 2021. It is located on the top floor -with a view - in a typical building, dating from the 19th century, 100 m from Place des Terreaux and Hôtel de Ville de Lyon, less than 200 m from the metro station "Hôtel de Ville" and the main bus lines (C3) , and about 5 minutes from Vieux Lyon on foot.
