I loved staying at this elegant apartment. It had everything I needed for a 9 day stay and was very well equipped. The area is very quiet, but plenty of life. Amazing public transport and excellent Publibikes a couple of minutes walk away, multiple supermarkets close by, excellent restaurants (pizza from Da Nino superb), and I felt immediately at home as a solo traveller. Gert was extremely helpful, even tracking down a bike shop where I was able to hire a bike helmet. All in all an excellent experience, and Bern is a wonderful city.

This is our second time staying at this apartment, and we will definitely return again. It is comfortable, spotlessly clean, quiet, and convenient to public transportation. Our hosts were super responsive.

Great place to stay. It can accommodate up to 4 people: 2 in the bedroom on 2 in the sofa bed. it is spacious and quite well equiped. For 2 people it is a little bit too expensive: this is why I rated it with 4 stars.

We stayed here for a week with 4 people and a dog and felt very comfortable. The location and view on the lake are incredible. The house is well equipped and offers a lot of space and comfort - our expectations have been exceeded. Diverse sights are within easy reach. One of the best vacations we've had so far!

Great stay in this beautiful green setting! The cottage is superb, very clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped! The big plus: a breathtaking view of the valley! Great place with a fantastic view of the lake! I found everything to be as described with the sauna being an obvious highlight. Due to the house being located at a cul-de-sac, it feels very private (except for the odd rando intrigued by the view or the owner's sister collecting some furniture on Easter weekend). The autobahn is nearby, but its sound doesn't overwhelm that of the cow bells, so no big deal.

Perfect stay. This cottage, this nature...you feel in a real haven of peace. The accommodation is very welcoming, pleasant, everything is well thought out. Very good bedding. The area is very beautiful, the hikes are wonderful. It's beautiful, we want to stay there. A big thank you to Franziska.

We had a great Easter weekend in Grand Combe Châteleu in Christophe's place! We were very well hosted despite our delay. Also, the accommodation is located a few minutes walk from all amenities: bakery, crossroads city... which allowed us to spend a moment without asking questions. The bedding is perfect and the place is very clean. A little extra for the DVDs available to us (for moody times, that's perfect)! Also, we had the opportunity to visit the other properties rented by Christophe (just as clean and can accommodate large families). We will be sure to share this address around us and come back for our future stays!

A magnificent place to stay for our three week trip to Switzerland, a true home away from home. Our host was very responsive and accommodating with a few special requests for which we were very grateful. Everything was as described but the photos of the view did not do it justice - the views of the lake and mountains from the windows and balcony were incredible! The apartment was extremely clean and very spacious making it comfortable for an extended stay. The location was also perfect in a nice quiet area with a bus at the door and a train 5-10 minutes easy walk away. The Montreux Riviera card (available to collect from Vevey Tourist office with accommodation receipt) gave us free local public transport which was a bonus. Thank you for a wonderful stay - can highly recommend!

I had a wonderful 3 nights stay at Bernhard’s place. The apartment was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and peaceful nature all around. Bernhard was very responsive. He also provided clear and helpful instructions, which made check-in and navigating the area easy and stress-free. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting the region!

we came to this place for one night. Evelyne had made us a fire. And give the keys before the agreed time. it is flexible on the arrival time. bedding and good quality. we'll be back.

our short stay at Elisabeth's was excellent . accommodation, functional ,very comfortable and tastefully decorated with a very pleasant little exterior.

The apartment is very nice and high-quality. The old-build charm made us feel immediately comfortable. The kitchen is well furnished (including all conceivable kitchen utensils, spices, olive oil and vinegar) very spacious and cozy to linger. Too bad there is no sofa in the living room. Booking the apartment as well as the written contact with the hosts Isabelle and Markus and Susanne was very pleasant and friendly.

It was a great place to stay for the week on a work trip work. The surroundings were beautiful and quiet. The apartment was spacious and true to the description.

We felt very comfortable with Patrizia and Antonio. The welcome and care is very warm, the room was very homely and nicely decorated. The breakfast was rich and fine, in fine weather we could cook and eat outside in the garden with a small kitchen. We will be happy to come back and thank you again for the wonderful stay.
