Waterfront vacation rentals in Avila Beach

We enjoyed our stay here in Cayucos! The cottage was clean and comfortable. The location was conveniently located to different nearby areas since we were spending some time during our trip in San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay as well. I was especially impressed with the thorough welcome packet that was provided — it had all the needed instructions plus a great selection of recommendations for food and activities! We’d love to stay again in the future!

We loved our stay. We had plenty of space for our family and dogs. The place had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It even had coffee and sugar and a few other things that made the first morning so much easier. We were close to restaurants and shops and walked everywhere. We will definitely be back!

Great deal, and with so much to do in the greater San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay Area it was the perfect cozy spot to come back to in the afternoons after a long day of exploring

Our stay at this beautiful home in Oceano/Pismo Beach was everything we hoped for and more! The location is absolutely unbeatable—just steps from the sand with stunning ocean views right from the patio. We enjoyed morning coffee watching the waves and ended every evening with breathtaking sunsets. The home itself was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated with a relaxed coastal vibe. It had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen, cozy beds, and plenty of outdoor seating. The sound of the ocean at night was so soothing—it truly felt like a peaceful escape. We loved how close we were to both Pismo Pier and Oceano Dunes. Whether we were ATV riding, strolling along the beach, or grabbing clam chowder at Slappys, everything was within easy reach. This place is perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking to relax and recharge by the ocean. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Spacious. Fantastic location on the edge of shops and restaurants. Quiet love having the beach cruisers. A few minute walk to beach really enjoyed our time there. Definitely recommend.

Team Central Coast was great and the home was exactly what we had expected! Overall, was a wonderful trip and we highly recommend staying at this home- the views were oustanding and the home had everything we needed (and then some)! My only (slight) complaint was that the required in-person check-in process was a bit stressful as we were traveling from Arizona over two days, so it was a little nerve-racking knowing someone was waiting on us to arrive by a certain time. We also encountered an unexpected storm once we hit SLO, so that slowed things down even more and made arriving on time even more stressful. The norm anymore has been no-contact check-in, so it was a little surprising to know we needed to meet with someone at check-in, but definitely not a game-changer, just a little different than what we are used to nowadays when using AirBnB.

Had a great time! Jaclyn and Alex were very sweet and responsive and ensured we had a great time! House was in great condition and maintained really well! Interior design is also very well thought out and creates a homely vibe. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I stayed at Thomas's place for several days, and it was quiet, cozy comfortable, centrally located, and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked, and had everything I needed to cook meals during my stay. The location can't be beat. Although I had originally planned to kayak, bike, and hike in the area, I also ended up walking quite a bit from the Airbnb along the nearby beach and through a couple local nature sanctuaries every day as an extra treat. Thomas was friendly, and an excellent communicator. I would recommend Thomas's Airbnb to anyone visiting the Morro Bay area.

First, the place is great. It is spacious, the bedrooms are large, and the view is fantastic. Being dog lovers, the highlight for us was Styx the ranch dog who kept us company all weekend. The house was clean and well stocked. The furniture is dated but comfortable. The master bathroom has a heater that made my shower very nice!

I reserved this home for my family over Thanksgiving weekend as we were visiting the area. We loved loved loved the property. For starters, it was a beautiful setting - the koi pond was right there as we sat on the front porch rocking away with our coffees and teas in the morning. We did a walk and run on the property between the gorgeous vineyards. We met Penny, the hostess, serving in the tasting room. We had a lovely few sips of two of their reds next to their roaring indoor stone fireplace. The home was set up so we could play games, and watch the Warriors on a large screen. It was 12 to 15 minutes to downtown (and pickleball). We also were just a few miles away from the light show in the fields - Sensorio. We had a lovely setting for special family time together. Thank you Beau, Joe, Penny, and team - we will be back! PS We received two love bottles of red complimentary - liked their Zin!

If you are looking for a peaceful few days to get away, this is the perfect place! It was quiet and serene. Plan to do a beach fire which is steps from the Airbnb. Everything is walking distance, including the local grocery store, restaurants and quaint, antique shops. Also, walking the Bluff, which hugs the ocean was very relaxing and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others.

This property has an awesome location - just steps from the beach. What really stood out was how responsive the host is. We checked in just before midnight as we were stuck in traffic but she stayed up to make sure we got in all right. Whenever we had a question, she was quick to respond. Thank you for a great stay!

What a beautiful place! Close to so much ! Love the view decor the space and amenities! It was very clean and comfortable. Our hosts really made it nice!

Had issues with the smoke detector low battery, they sent a repair guy right away & took care of the issue.
