If you love nature and want to really switch off, the cabin is an absolute insider tip! Due to a small snowshoe hike to the cabin in winter is included and really beautiful. The snowshoes and sledges were all ready for us at the parking lot, and we could easily follow the path of the snowmobile to the cabin. The cabin is very cozy, a central fireplace heats up quickly. We spent cozy evenings by the fireplace and in the candlelight. And then our stay was crowned with the stunning northern lights. All in all a lovely stay and wonderful to leave all the stress behind.

Best place we've stayed in Norway through Airbnb. Homely, spacious and cordial. Nice little instructions in the house👌🏼 Only huge complaint is that Mr. Bailey (The cat) will not sleep in the bed with us..😂 Great recommendation from here. 🤩

My family and I spent 3 days in this chalet, idyllically located on the shore of a small lake near Leppajarvi. The lake is frozen during winter , early spring time, and offers a beautiful scenario and chances for walks nearby and up to the surrounding hills. The wooden chalet is a lovely, relaxing place , with a nice fireplace to seat near to and a separate sauna with a view of the lake. It is also well equipped for cooking and other necessities. It's possible to reach a husky farm , in about 15 minute drive, which has different activities, including sledding in winter time. In the same direction there's also a supermarket and a pharmacy. Last but not least, the 4G mobile phone connection worked well. So, not having wifi, all in all, was not a problem for us.. As was it not the ecological toilet: a little demanding to get used at first if you never used it, but I appreciated the ecological impact on the natural environment. Comfortable quiet place, where you find everything you need. You can enjoy beautiful nature and watch aurora if weather and solar activity cooperates.

What can I say, simply super, the house and location are exceptional, even better than in the photos, all the comforts, lots of equipment available for free (skis, snowshoes, sledges, bobsters, etc.) kitchen complete with everything and with a good base of cooking ingredients (oil, vinegar, spices, salt, sugar, coffee, etc.). We didn't want to leave anymore, we could live in this house and would definitely like to come back in the future.

Marit was welcoming, helpful and responsive to my questions and requests. The location suited me perfectly and the accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. I felt very at home, thank you Marit

Very private and peaceful location, comfortable cabin and beautiful surroundings, definitely worthy. I would definitely return! Just consider that there is nothing nearby so you have to buy your stuff before getting to the cabin.
