Set all worries aside, keep close to nature's heart.. If you have searched for the name Ba Be out of famed destinations in Vietnam, I am sure you must have a heart for simplicity, a deep gratitude for nature and a drive for adventure into the wilderness. Our home is an ethnic Tay family, located deep in the Pac Ngoi village of Ba Be National Park. Facing a soothing green rice terrace & surrounded by mountains, we offer every guest an oasis of peacefulness and authentic way of living. Welcome!
“Thuan's place overlooks the valley and lake with an amazing balcony restaurant. Our room was very adequate and I must have gotten used to hard beds as I had a great night's sleep. We loved our day on the lake and cycling round the villages. Thuan was very helpful with this organisation. Especially good was the breakfast and evening meals prepared by KaSa. An unforgetable experience, especially the ride over the mountains to the village”
Situated on the edge of the lake. The hotel offers panoramic views of the lake and mountains. Forest nature, friendly people, clean rooms.
“It is difficult to describe Ba Be quickly. However, my girlfriend and I found it...gorgeous. If you're contemplating whether to visit, well we can tell you it is probably the most memorable part of our trip. Our stay with Mr. Son and his family was lovely - they go out of their way to make you feel at home, Mrs. Son is a wonderful cook and I strongly recommend her cooking - we ate dinner with them every night and it was some of the best food I ate in Vietnam. Otherwise, this is not a state of the art 5star hotel - it is a comfortable home. The aircon is good, wifi is good, there's hot water. You can also ask Mr. Son to take you exploring the lake and visit several sites, he more or less goes at your pace, and the price is very reasonable. It's definitely worth it. There are also motorcycles available for rent, and the traffic is nothing like the cities, so you can confidently explore the area, which is another great adventure by itself. You will see farms, rivers, mountains, waterfalls. Ask Mr. Son or Mrs. Son for advice on where to explore and they will guide you.”
