Great place to stay for long stays. Very peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. Valencia is at a higher altitude then Dumaguete, providing cooler temperatures. Thank you to Dan and Melania and their staff for providing a great place to stay.

LOCATION Hidden secret of Negros Oriental. BEAUTIFUL home. I say home becouse it feels personal not just a house. Large home. Maybe 170 sq meter ? Amazing floor plan. Every aspect of comfort was thought of. Very tastefully decorated. Probably the best I ever saw for an Air B and B. Open floor plan. Amazing kitchen with many cabinets and BEAUTIFUL large granite counter tops. Two bathrooms. One with a bath and water heater. Open outdoor in the front with huge bamboo trees providing shade breeze and coolness. Large new t v. Very nicely decorated. Owner rep is very accommodating and helpful. She offered to clean the house and it felt refresh after it. AC in the bedroom works very well and is very quiet. There are additional two portable large and very effective new fans as well as a third ceiling fan in the living room. We had a wonderful stay at this unique airbnb! Finding the place was a bit tricky due to a lack of phone signal, and the shower pressure was soft, but the owner checked on it promptly. There was a brief power interruption, but these minor issues didn’t impact our overall experience. The view and charm of the treehouse and airbnb made it all worthwhile. The location was spacious and featured a huge, incredibly comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. Being right next to the owner’s restaurant was a major plus, where we enjoyed delicious food and amazing craft beer! The amenities were excellent. They had Wi-Fi, a microwave, fridge, TV, and air, which conditioning made our stay very convenient. The host was friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend this place for a unique getaway!

I stayed here at Rosalie's place for a month and before the month was up, I had already booked another month, so a total of 2 months. I like that it's out in the country away from traffic noise. It's peaceful and quiet. Not always quiet, but most of the time. I like that I can leave the house and not bother to lock the door and not worry about any theft. There are 9 dogs here and they keep guard of the place. If someone shows up at the gate, they alert you. I also like the fact that I can go jogging /walking in the neighborhood every morning. It's country living with roosters and cows in the area. The place is known as Ziva's Crib and you can easily find it on google maps and get directions right to the property from wherever you are. A trike ride from either the harbor pier or the airport should cost no more than 500 pesos. And if you want to rent a motorbike, Rosalie has a good connection with a bike rental place that in March/April 2025 only cost me 6,500 pesos per month.
