The accomodation was exactly as described, comfortable with very good facilities. Pam and Ron had good communication and clearly want people to enjoy their stay, which I did.

Brilliant host, and beautiful accommodation. Spotless, and newly decorated, so everything was pristine!

First time we have booked with airbnb. This was a treasure of a find. Quiet, beautiful surroundings and close enough to visit family over Christmas or them visit us and for us to have our own down time in between. Beautiful walks and area. The addition of dog treats and Christmas treats presented in a basket for us was special and very much welcomed. Thank you Plus I’m in love with the beautiful stained glass bathroom door….. stunning. I have stayed at this lodge several times on long term rentals of several months- Alison / Simon are always extremely responsive. The lodge is modern, clean and in a great location for central Newbury but still peaceful in rural surroundings.
