The living room, with a balcony and views of the Bay of Baiona, has a three-seater sofa and television. The bathroom has a shower. It is very well located, a few minutes walk from the beach (Playa Santa Marta) and 10 minutes from the old town (wine and tapas area). Public parking area
“Very nice views of the beach. The property is as seen in the photos. It is recently remodeled, with new and top quality equipment and appliances. Crockery and towels in large quantity. And the detail of finding dairy, coffee, tea, chocolate, pastries and masitas for the first breakfast. Amparo and his family were always very attentive and cordial.”
Night in an 8-meter sailboat, with a cabin with a bed for 2 people, ample room for dinner and breakfast. It has a bathroom and microwave. Cozy and comfortable. The port has toilet services for the comfort of the totally free guests. Located in the center of Baiona, with numerous restaurants and locals. It has numerous beaches a few meters away and is 2 minutes walk from the Baiona hostel, of tourist interest.
“It was a really nice stay at this boat. The host was really friendly and gave us hints for the Camino. I can really recommend this accommodation to everyone who wants to have an exceptional experience during the Camino Portugues.”
Welcome to Altos de Baiona, a home away from home, fully equipped and curiously designed.
“Carmen Julia’s apartment is located in a nice and peaceful residential area on the hill behind the waterfront in Baiona. Ideally located for everything & with a car parking space. The very best thing about the apartment is the amazing view from the terrace which gets sun in the morning for breakfast and in the evening for dinner. The apartment is very well equipped and there are lots of thoughtful touches throughout - milk & water in the fridge, tea, coffee, oil, vinegar, sugar etc as well as washing tablets for the washing machine and toiletries in the bathrooms. The apartment was very clean and Carmen Julia’s family, who live downstairs, where very kind and welcoming even though we spoke no Spanish. Baiona is a lovely town with an amazing history (the first port reached by Columbus’ expedition on their return from discovering America) fantastic sights, lots of great beaches (the town beach is totally calm so perfect if you want a swim without the crashing atlantic waves), and wonderful seafood restaurants.”
