The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in on the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full work and have four small children.

Nice hikes nearby, including Vallestadfossen waterfall which is 500 meters away. mountain hikes are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This free. Nearest town is Førde which is 30 mins away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 meters away from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.

Stylish apartment with a great view of the fjord

The apartment is around 6 years old, and with all basic furniture and kitchen appliances. There is a parking lot separating the living room window and the fjord. Nice hiking area right outside the door, short distance to the mountains around Førde.
