Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ballerup Municipality

We felt right at home in Gunnar's forest house. Everything from the hand towels to the bedding was available. For the dog it was great to walk in the woods. By train to Copenhagen, it is just a stone's throw away and works very comfortably. In the house there was all the necessary things to cook. There was a fireplace that worked outstandingly. We'd love to come back.

Clear directions, super close transportation and very convenient to downtown Copenhagen. Clean house, comfortable beds, lots of utensils, toys for the little ones… everything ideal! We had a great week in this beautiful house with nice garden and terras. Everything we needed was there. Communication was easy. We had no car but since the bus station is close, we could easily explore the city. Highly recommended!

We loved staying in the pretty house of Christina and her family. The location is good for getting to the city quickly by train or taking further excursions by car, there are also really many shopping opportunities. We did not lack anything in the house and the four of us had a wonderful vacation. Communication with Christina was always very friendly, prompt and unobtrusive. Highly recommend!

Thank you for a really lovely stay at your lovely family house. Children and adults of all ages enjoyed themselves, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Back again in this wonderful warm welcome home for our 3 nights stay visting Copenhagen. Perfect location as transport is closeby both train and bus bringing us straight into the city center and by bike only 15 minutes. Sofie is the most sweet host allowing flexible times, preparing her lovely home for us and her home and garden are a heaven of peace. Supermarket, bakery and coffeeshop nearby very convenient. Actually this is a hidden secret. Thank you again Sofie!

We stayed at Theis several times and as always our last stay went very well. Theis is a very nice host, easily available if needed. The apartment is super well located ( shop, train station nearby...)

The apartment is even prettier in person than it is in the photos. The apartment is elegant and comfortable, with beautiful decor and artistic touches. The neighborhood is also very good. There are restaurants and cafes nearby, and the city center is only a few subway stops away. This is an excellent apartment, and I’m very happy to have stayed there.

Great location near a train station for easy access to Copenhagen. The hosts are kind and easy to communicate with. Good family friendly space.

We stayed as a family for a two night road-trip stopover in Copenhagen. This location was great for us. Parking was easy and free and very close to the city center. Kristine’s place was lovely and clean. It had everything we needed. 👍

Winnie’s place is set in a beautiful part of København, quiet, leafy and friendly. Winnie was pro-active - she sent through advice on how to get there and was flexible with the check-in time which really helped. Getting to the apartment from the airport was very straightforward with a choice of 2 walkable metro stations/train/bus. The apartment was lovely, spotlessly clean with beautiful art pieces and furniture. Very comfortable , it had everything we needed for a really great stay. Would definitely recommend Winnie’s place 😃🇩🇰

We stayed with our three kids (6yo, 5yo and 3yo) in Majbrits' house for a couple of days to visit Copenhagen with our cargo bikes. The neighbourhood was quiet, perfect distance to cycle to the city center. We loved the style of the house. We felt very welcome. Their music collection is perfect to relax after a busy day in the city. :-) Our kids really enjoyed playing in the big garden and playing with the toys in the house. Communication with Majbrit was very easy en fast. We would defenitely recommand this place to our friends with kids if they want to visit Copenhagen.

Very nice stay. Self check-in and easy. Ideally located, 5 min from the metro, in front of a supermarket, very friendly neighborhood with lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. Charming, warm, spacious, bright, tastefully decorated apartment with a balcony. Ideal for a family of 4. Very clean and very well-equipped, nothing missing. The bedding is extremely comfortable. Everything was perfect!

Everything was as agreed. Had good communication before we arrived. Responded quickly to all messages.

We had a great stay. The house and garden were lovely and perfect for our group of 7. The garden was ideal, with the trampoline and cats being particular highlights. The kitchen is really well-equipped with everything you need and a large table to eat at. The lounge area and grand piano were also perfect (we had a pianist with us). Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Karl & Maiken were really friendly and helpful and very good at communicating. The location is perfect, peaceful and close to the metro and supermarket. (Maybe if you have less mobility the bathrooms/stairs could be a little tricky- just worth noting). The whole house is nicely furnished with Danish design items. Definitely recommended.

Probably the most wonderful hosts we have come across on Air BnB yet. Kim and Lone were absolutely fantastic to deal with. The house was clean, beautiful and well maintained. Free parking is available as the premises so getting to the central was just 20 mins by car. The house has all the kitchen equipment you possibly need and Kim and Lone have been extremely flexible in allowing us to check in a few hours early as we had an early flight. I not just met the most wonderful hosts but have made friends for life. We will visit this property again and will highly recommend this place to those planning to stay around copenhagen.

We rented the house to Christian and Malene for 10 lovely days with a family of friends. The house itself is beautiful - so much nicer in reality than on the photos! There is plenty of space, clean and has absolutely all the amenities we have needed, not least a fantastic coffee machine! The pool is both big, clean and warm. As your host, Christian is extremely helpful and service minded. We had most of the useful information ahead of time, but Christian responds incredibly quickly when we've wondered about something. Highly recommend!

Lovely house with lots of space and easy access to the forest. Birgitte was the perfect host and had gone to great lengths to make up and get the house ready. This is the second time we have stayed at Lars and Fabrine’s home. It is beautiful and very well appointed. They are very responsive hosts and super nice people. It is convenient to the town for shopping and the train. We look forward to staying again when we are in Værløse!
